I am so thrilled that we decided to take alot of time to find a photographer/videographer, off the resort's list of suggested people to hire!  The people at HDC Photo were worth the research, time, effort.

In planning, I never had a hard time getting a hold of Arnaud (owner).  He emailed us back within a 24 hour period, with any answers to my questions or concerns.  Making the down-payment through paypal was painless, and making all of the arrangements before-hand was also painless because of his great response time.  Thank you Arnaud, you have no idea how many "professionals" don't even bother responding properly to email, may seem like a small thing but it is not.

I would recommend HDC photo/video to anyone planning a destination wedding in Dominican Republic! I didn't have to "think"... what I mean by that is, the photographer knew exactly what he was doing, and wasted absolutely no time letting us hmm and awe about anything (poses, people, whatever)... he took the lead, and suggested, placed us, made us laugh and took absolutely gorgeous pictures. Everyone thought the photographer was absolutely amazing, and anyone who's seen the pictures has had raving compliments.

The video was exactly what Sean and I wanted. It is short, full of music, and artistic. We did not want to get stuck with the "standard" 2 hour boooooring wedding video no one wants to watch. While we were taking pictures on the beach, I spoke to Arnaud and asked him to download our two wedding songs (our "up the aisle" song and our first dance) to include on the video, and he did. We really appreciated your effort as our "up the aisle" song had JUST been released by James Blunt the week before our wedding, so I'm sure it was not easy to find.
