My wife and I were married in the Dominican Republic on 10/1/2011.  HDC was recommended to us by friends of ours who had a destination wedding 2 yrs earlier.  I can't say enough about how great a company HDC Photo is and how exceptional their services were.

We had been planning our wedding for 18 months (I'm a bit of a type A) and had every detail down to a T planned out.  Then 3 days before we were set to leave we were notified that the hotel we were staying at had been sold and would no longer be all inclusive during our stay.  We had to make some emergency changes to our location 3 days before departure.  It was so nice to have a professional such as Arnaud reassure us that the photographers would be the least of our worries.  He was quick to reply to emails notifying him of the venue change and reassured us that there would be no problems at all.

The day of the wedding we found that our hotel wedding planner was not the most prepared individual, so everything was becoming VERY stressful.  Then our photographer, Milan, showed up and took over.  He saw that there was confusion among the hotel staff and he just started directing them where to go and what to do, including the wedding planner.  He was also extremely gregarious and sociable.  He made everyone feel at ease and made us all feel as if we had known him forever.  He was complimenting the ladies, bantering with the men, all the while getting the shots that he needed.  I think our ceremony would have been lacking if Milan and HDC Photo were not involved.

During the actual photo shoot, Milan again made my wife and I feel 100% at ease.  His approach and direction was so easy going that we instantly were at ease and were able to follow his direction for the poses.  Everything felt completely natural.  I can't say enough about the professionalism that all of HDC brought to our special day.

The following day we met with Arnaud to go over our photo choices.  Again the professionalism and courtesy were out of this world.  Arnaud helped us to understand all of the different options that were available to us from the package we selected.  He made great suggestions on picture selection and was more than willing to take as much time as was needed for us to make our selections.  There was no pressure involved at anytime during the entire process.

The final product was some of the best work I have ever seen.  My wife and I couldn't have been more thrilled with how everything turned out.  We've had a reception when we returned to the states and used the photos for a slideshow during the cock tail hour.  All of the guests were raving about how beautiful the pictures were.

I would recommend HDC photo to anyone looking to have a Destination Wedding.  The prices are unbelievable and the service is above reproach.  Do yourself a favor and contact these guys immediately.
