I got married at the resort.

If Daniella is still the wedding coordinator (WC) then DON'T consideer this place.

Things that didn't go well.,....

* No directions from the W.C. for ANYTHING!!! Eslecally on the wedding day.

No walk through of the service or how things would proceed.

* She did the translation of the ceremony..... and did not prounce my name properly.... she kept calling me Kate.... my name is Keith.

* The W.C. torn the all inclusive braclet off of my wife's arm seconds before she walked down the aisle.

* Menu... so so

* We ate late.... and could not stay in the "resturant" patio even though we had the entire place to our self.... and not sirtrubing anyone!

* They tried to take credit for the fire works

* Asked for our cake to be brought to our room..... did not happen.

* Asked for the flowers to be brought to our room.... did not happen.

* We asked for 1/2 a lobster... and got 1/2 a tail!!!!  Did not pay for that extra.

* TOTALLY disorganized.

* Could not get in touch with the W.C. when we had questions.

I am sure there are more things but it's been 4 months .....

Good things...

* Upgraded to a suite after 3 days.... But the hot but on the balcony never had ANY HOT WATER!!!

* The Hotel Photographer was AMAZING - Andreas.  $1300 

* Ran into Julian.....WE met him from (2) years prrvious at another resort.... Great Guy!! How woudl have thought!!!

* We could go to the other (2) resort and visit..... only did that once.... they are definitely not the Palace. Different clientele..... spring break and all.

* I DID GET MARRIED!!! :)

I am use to traveling all over the world and staying at resorts in Mexico, Cuba, D.R. and Jamaica.  I have stayed in 3-4 Stars and 5+ Stars.  This was a regular 5 Star.... but you would hope that since Iwas getting married at the resort that things would be a little more special me the happy couple.  Not really.  I am really disappointed with the RUI as a wedding destination.
