I am from Phoenix, AZ and had my heart set on a destination wedding in Cancun for a long time.  I chose the Westin Resort & Spa for the location of the wedding.  The hotel offered me numerous packages to choose from that included photography, videography, flowers, DJ, etc.  I chose a package that included photography and videography and the hotel set me up with Winnie Vallejo.  Although I did not get to meet Winnie before the wedding day, she was amazing to work with from afar (which can be very difficult).  Prior to the wedding, I gave her a list of all the photos that I wanted taken on the wedding day.  She also allowed me to pick my music for the video and offered a "trash the dress" session the day after the wedding (which I highly recommend).  On my wedding day, Winnie and her crew (1 other photographer and 1 videographer) were ready to start shooting early and, overall, were very friendly and easy to work with.  The day could not have been more perfect (thank you to Winnie and her crew).  I did not know what to expect when I signed up for the destination wedding, but I honestly do not think that I could have picked a better photographer/videographer myself (thanks to Westin for setting me up with Winnie)!  The photos turned out INCREDIBLE and the video was even better (I cried the first time I watched it!)  The quality of the photos and videos were amazing and she even gave me cute wedding albums to place all of her beautiful 5x7 high-quality photos that she sent me.  In addition to this, she provided me with CDs of ALL the pictures so that I could print out additional photos if I wanted.  I apologize for the long review, however, I just want to reiterate that I HIGHLY recommend Vallejo Photographers & Video as they far exceeded my expectations.  The quality of their work speaks for itself.  If you are someone from the U.S. looking to have a destination wedding in the Cancun area and are worried about hiring a photographer, take it from me and go with Vallejo!  You will be happy with your decision!!!  Thanks!
