So Ivan is by far the best DJ i have ever met! We just got back from our wedding at the Royal Playa del Carmen.  Ivan was so professional, we met a few days before the wedding to go over things.  My brother and sister in law were our MC's so they met with him as well. Ivan knew what he was doing and kept the party alive! I have never been to a reception before where guests never stopped dancing. He had so many awesome props and the music was perfect.   Also, Ivan was great to work with, our MC's had a little dance number put together and Ivan helped make it so entertaining and perfect with lighting and cues.  

We originally added on an additional hour - for a 4 hour reception.  It was not enough. My husband and I had to skip out for an hour to take some more pictures and when we came back and there was only 30 minutes left.  My bridesmaids and parents all said they wanted to keep the party going and would chip in for another hour. I didn't hesitate to add on another hour and our parents ended up paying for it :)  We had our reception from 6:00 to 11:00pm (it probably went until about 11:15 - 11:30) 

We originally thought about using an Ipod for our music and save a bit of money. - honestly don't think twice - go with the DJ, it will make the reception!
