I first learned about HDC Photo through a forum on weddings at Dreams La Romana.  All the brides who used them were extremely pleased with the service.  The general feedback on the photographer provided by the hotel was mediocre which led me to a decision to consider HDC.  After looking at samples of their work and consulting my professional photographer friend in New York, I decided to hire HDC.  Since the first time I reached out to them, our interaction was extremely efficient and smooth.  Arnaud was my main point of contact and he responded to all my inquiries very promptly, usually within minutes.  He resolved all of my questions and concerns prior to booking.  My wedding was on November 12, 2011 at Dreams La Romana at the Dominican Republic.  Our assigned phorographer arrived promptly on time.  During her time on site, she was working non-stop and likely took 1000's of images.  She directed us to what poses and angles would be best, which made the photoshoot very easy.  She surveyed the hotel and found what backgrounds and lightihng would work best with our images and she also took our opinion in consideration when setting up the photoshoot (for example, I did not want to walk on sand or sit on anything that would damage my dress).  She gave us pointers on what to do during the ceremony and our dance to ensure we get the best photos.  Finally, she even gave advice on what makeup would look best on camera.  Overall, we found our photographer very professional and easy to work with.  Our photos were ready within 48 hours and we received an CD with over 500 best images, all of them with full resolution for further edits, if needed.  Some of the images were artistically enhanced with black-and-white or sepia effects.  The background, lighting and images were stunning.  Also, Arnaud went an extra mile for me to accomodate my request to retouch a number of images that I wanted to use for my album.  I am very happy with the service I received from Arnaud's team and it was an excellent value for money.  I highly recommend HDC Photo for all of your wedding needs.
