I had first talked to a travel agent at a local bridal fair... I emailed her all of our info, questions, and what we were looking for, yet didn't hear back from her..EVER!! After that I was about to give up on the idea of using a TA, but had recently stumbled upon BDW, so thought I would see if they could help me.

Shortly after submitting my request I heard back from Wendy, and from that point on, I knew I was in good hands. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond what I had expected -- when the resort's wedding coordinators wouldn't return my emails and requests for open wedding dates, she made contact with someone from the parent company, and was able to get them to respond to me with availability. She was patient with me and explained the difference between group and individual booking, and the pros and cons of each side. She worked and worked on the groups department to get them to drop our price in the group contract when we found lower prices published online, which saved nearly every couple about $150-250 depending on how long they were staying.

All but 2 of our guests booked through Wendy, and that was just confusion on their part - they weren't sure how the group thing worked and booked on their own before I could explain it. Everyone was impressed with her speed of communication, and I heard multiple people say that Wendy had been very helpful to them. She took very good care of our guests (and knowing some members of my family that takes a lot!), and I couldn't be happier that we went with Wendy for our destination wedding travel needs!!
