Before going to the Riviera Maya to get married, one of the most important things for me was to be able to find a good photographer on location. Being a graphic designer and having a lot of experience with photography myself, I knew what I was looking for and I wanted to make sure that we hired a very professional photographer that didn't just snap souvenir/tourist photos, but awesome memories that we would be proud to share.

I found Claudia Photo Studio while doing some research on the internet and I checked with them to see if they were available on our wedding day. We got married at Barcelo Maya Colonial Beach and we had to pay a fee to grant our photographer access to the site. One word of advise to everybody: PAY THE FEE!!! I saw the work of the resort's photographer and I am SOOOOOOOO glad that I did not hire them!!

Claudia came to the resort with her assistant on our wedding day and I instantly felt comfortable and in good hands with them. She knew what to take pictures of, they were discrete when they needed to be, she told us what poses we should take... they were awesome to work with. Very friendly, fun and professional.

We really felt bad during the dinner reception because the speeches took longer than we had expected... Claudia was very understanding and stayed longer (no extra charge) to make sure that we had photos of when we cut the cake and of the first dance. She even surprised us with a slideshow of some of the pictures that they had taken during the day because I had told her earlier that I had given my own camera to a friend to make sure that I would see the pictures right after the wedding.

About 8 weeks after the wedding, we received a DVD of all the photos and we were not disappointed one bit. They all look great and everybody loved them.
