Choosing the wedding site is obviously one of the most stressful decisions when planning a wedding. We agonized because there are so many beautiful choices in Cabo.  Ultimately we selected the Sheraton because of it's old world romantic charm, walking distance to beautiful villas for the reception and the proximity to downtown for guests.  The Sheraton has several beautiful ceremony sites depending on your wedding size, preferences, etc.  Although we liked them all, we really wanted more privacy from hotel guests.  We found the perfect solution by negotiating with Pitahayas restaurant on the Sheraton property.  Pitahayas is on the far end of the resort grounds and has a beautiful beach surrounded by rocks.  The restaurant has top-rated food, but it's really the romantic atmosphere the seals the deal- rocky cliffs, thatched roof, huge terrace over the rocks and waves.  We had the ceremony on the beach in front of the restaurant, waves crashing at our feet.  We had the entire beach to ourselves. Our guests gathered for pre-ceremony drinks at the restaurant and then after the ceremony, guests moved back to the terrace for appetizers and cocktails while the wedding party took photos on the beach.  The service staff was wonderful- waiters walked the beach and terrace with trays of food and drinks and took great care of our group.  After the cocktail hour, we walked to a villa nearby for the reception.  All of our guests were amazed with the beauty of the resort and ceremony site.  I couldn't imagine a more amazing place to get married and would highly recommend the Sheraton!
