The service I received from the coordinator was awful, as was from the hotel. We had 44 guests staying at the hotel and the front desk mixed up 60% of all reservations. They even told me once after being there for a week that they had no one staying under my name when I called down from my room.

Here is a bullet lidt of what went wrong

-the flowers I ordered were not what I recieved

- the function room I was showed was not the one we got, the one we got was a quarter of the size

-the recption room was not ready and all my guests had to wait a hlaf hour after the service to go in

-the coordinator was extremely rude to all my guests, and even told them the wrong location of the service on the beach. She then tried to make us go ahead with the service without guests there, because she had another wedding the next hour

-our room was suppossed to be made up with rose pedals and champagne after our wedding. It was not even cleaned for the day, no rose pedals or champagne

-I got my dinner last, the steaks were suppossed to be medium rare. Mine was well done and butterflied

-on the way to the service, the coordinator drove the bridal party in a golf cart. SHe drove so fast and horribly I almost fell out in my dress,my maid of honor had to catch me.

All in all, the coordinator was the worst. They do not make you feel special, you are just a number to them. barcelo produces weddings like McDonald's produces hamburgers. There are about six-ten weddings a day.The service itslef was beautiful and the minister was great. Thats about it.
