Choosing a resort at which to get married can be a very daunting task.  I can honestly say that we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of the Excellence Riviera Cancun.  First of all, the entire resort is just stunning.  We were looking for a ceremony site that was just a bit ‘different’ than others on the beach.  They have a beautiful gazebo on a separate area of the beach, under which everyone sat under.  It had a very intimate feel to it and was just perfect for our wedding.  Our cocktail hour was held in the foyer and reception in the Lobster House.  We were very happy with each setting. The wedding coordinator, Nayeli, was absolutely fantastic!  I am very particular about details, and was very worried whether my ‘vision’ would actually be carried out.  Everything from the flowers, to the centerpieces, to the music was just perfect.  Nayeli was even able to get the ‘crystal curtain’ for our ceremony site at the last minute.  We found a wedding coordinator (Rebecca - highly recommended!) through LUXE Destination Weddings who was in constant contact via email with Nayeli ensure our requests were carried out.  We met with Nayeli the day we arrived and had a rehearsal with our wedding party and parents the day prior to the wedding (Also highly recommended)  We also requested to meet with our minister, Caroline, who happily did this upon our arrival.  I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this resort.  They work so hard and will truly do anything to make their guests happy.  At some all-inclusive resorts, the food can be so-so.  That is not the case here - It was amazing!  All of our family and friends had such a wonderful time and many have mentioned that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
