Thank you so much for posting about Kool Club I am considering booking my wedding there and received their information package today. Reviews about this place are pretty good my fear is from looking at this place during the day it pretty much looks like a bunch of drunk people hangout there but after reading your reviews and your pictures I see that it turns into a pretty elegant place.

Some questions for you please:

- I read that it is next to another club, did you have problems with loud music from other clubs?

- Are the bathroom decent? I will likely need to freshen up throughout the night and I wonder if they have a staging area for the bride?

- Would you say the price was pretty reasonable in comparison to resorts you've researched?

-Did you have a Wedding planner?

_ I only have 35 people in my party and I hope that it is not going to be too big of a venue for my party size.

Yes it is much different in the evening. It really looks amazing with all the lights! Our guests are still talking about how great it was.

I thought the bathrooms were okay. Lots of stalls and seemed clean. Nothing special, but not gross. I thought I would freshen up, but ended up dancing and not caring I think I went into the bathroom twice.

It was more expensive to use Kool compared to the resort, but I think it was worth it to have a private location and dedicated service. You will be the only bride, this was important to me. Also the food was really good. I also liked that you were outside and didn't have to shut your party down at 10pm because of noise. We noticed this at a few resorts, so keep an eye out for it and ask about it if you plan a beach reception if you have a crew that likes to party into the wee hours.

Your party might be too small for the venue. We had 50 and I found it a bit sparse at times. Also they have minimum amounts, which basically work out to 45 or 50 people. But there are probably similar venues that are smaller. I'd ask how they could set it up, it might work. I would just make the dance floor smaller maybe, so it feels busier.

I did have a wedding planner. If you are going off resort you need one. I am not sure how you will find flowers, get your hair done, etc without one. It is worth the money if you are having the wedding off the resort. Plus day of who wants to be tracking down the centerpieces? You want to have a drink with your girls and enjoy yourself.

No problems with the club next door.... didn't even know there was one.

I agree, at night this place is pretty awesome! also agree about WC if your going out of resort, just for a piece of mind and there are lots of amazing ones here who are vendors! great advice amy!
