Booking Ivan for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made during the entire process, let alone THE easiest decision I made while planning. My husband and I did a site visit in March 2009 to plan our June 2011 wedding. Ivan met with us at our hotel in person to get our deposit as well as show us videos, songs, and photos of how he handles weddings. We knew right off the bat from meeting Ivan that he was the way to go. What a genuinely sweet, sweet person... not to mention extremely professional and friendly. Exactly what you'd want from a vendor when planning your wedding. I was immediately at ease and he had let us know that we didn't need to do much until the weeks leading up to our wedding. That was one major CHECK off my list and I applaud him for making my life so easy.

A few weeks beforehand, Ivan sent us the timeline to fill out with all of our songs we had wanted for the entrances, first dances, cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, etc.. as well as leaving enough space for songs we'd like played during the "dance" time. I sent this to Ivan the week before we left and we scheduled a time to meet in person 2 days before the wedding. I LOVE that he does this. I didn't need to ask, he just knew it's what he should do. Most vendors like to avoid, avoid, avoid - but meeting with Ivan during that time, I KNEW our reception was going to be spectacular. He went through our music timeline with us, and we skimmed through our LONG list of "dance" songs that we liked. He knew from those songs exactly our style and what he should play. That list just gave Ivan the jump-off point to work his magic. He's no joke - what a GREAT DJ.

Let me also point out that we're from New York, so our standards for a DJ are pretty high. They need to know what they're doing when mixing, etc. They need to know and feel the energy of the group they have in front of them... they can make or break a good time. Ivan was on point.

Long story short: Ivan had EVERYONE on the dance floor at our reception. Our guests couldn't wait to start dancing, and our bridal party was on the floor before the first course was even served. What an amazing time we'll NEVER forget, and we owe it to Ivan. It was 90+ degrees at night when we got married, our guests were drenched in sweat the entire time, but they loved it because of how much fun they were having. A much needed after-party at the pool was in effect after the last dance.

All of the extra's that Ivan throws in - the cold fireworks (blew our guests away), the balloons, the masks, the glow sticks - really gave that special touch that made everyone go from having a good time to an AMAZING time.

I can't thank Ivan enough for his time spent at our wedding and I encourage any future bride to use him. You get WAY more then you pay for with Ivan and I promise you, you definitely won't regret it.
