Del Sol….

Where do I even begin?

Well let’s say, it took some serious convincing of my new husband to go with Del Sol as our wedding photographer. The price was way outside of our original budget. But after sitting with him a few times and going through Del Sol’s pictures on their website, I convinced him that our wedding photos will be priceless and that it’ll be the only thing we’ll have to reflect back on years down the line.

He agreed and I confirmed our date with Melissa at Del Sol right away!

Melissa is AMAZING!! Her response time to my emails was very fast! I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response to my countless questions and emails. She was a true wonder to work with throughout this process and she made me feel so comfortable with communicating solely via email. I never felt the need to pick up the phone and call just to clarify something that I read in her emails to me. Everything was outlined and explained perfectly. Her customer service get’s 5 stars from me!

Now onto the photographers:

I went back and forth on my decision quite a bit. Sol or Matt? Sol or Matt? After going over each of their albums extensively, I decided to go with Sol. And this wasn’t for any reason in particular. I think it was basically just a flip of the coin. I’m sure Matt would have done just as amazing of a job!

Our time slot was from 4-8 p.m.

Sol and the additional photographer (Luis I believe his name was…my apologies if I’m wrong) arrived about 15 minutes prior to their start time and Sol got to work RIGHT away!!!! Luis was escorted to the groom’s suite and he began shooting them right away as well.

Sol:

How do I even begin to explain how AMAZING she is?? There are truly NO words!! She is awesome!!! She made her away around the room without the slightest interruption to me and my bridal party getting ready. From on top of the bed, to standing on the couches, to taking pictures from outside the room, she moved around so quickly and effortlessly. She was very professional yet also possessed a GREAT sense of humor! I felt like I’ve known her for years and that she was there to attend my wedding instead of photograph it. She came up with the coolest ideas to shoot! Now, I’m no stranger in front of the lense, however, I didn’t know quite how to pose in such a huge wedding dress…lol. She made me feel comfortable with acting like a goofball in front of the camera…and those pictures came out wonderfully!!! My entire bridal party related to Sol on a personal level and I kept hearing nothing but great things about her from everyone afterwards. I didn’t really interact much with Luis but from what I did experience, he was such a nice guy!!!! Very professional!

We ran into an issue toward the end of the ceremony because our cake wasn’t ready yet. I was completely losing my mind because it was after 8:00 p.m. and I really wanted to get some photos of us cutting the cake. I felt horrible having Sol and Luis stayed past their contracted time, but they eased my mind and expressed that they did not mind waiting additional time. They were true professionals and I can’t thank them enough for their patience!!!

Choosing Del Sol to photograph our wedding was by far the BEST decision we’ve made throughout our planning. So much of our hearts and soul went into planning this special day, and I couldn’t have imagined another photographer capturing our wedding the way Del Sol did. At the end of the day, the price didn’t matter…the cost was well worth it. And we’ll always look back and know that we have the most memorable, breathtaking photos from the most important day of our lives.

Sol, thank you for everything!!! I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome!!!
