We used Mannia Audio for our wedding at Excellence Riviera Cancun & had so much fun!  I gave them a very short list of artists we liked & they played great music during dinner.  After the cake cutting the party began & they had everyone on the dance floor.  The music was awesome!!  I have no idea what a DJ costs in the states, but it seemed a little high to me.  I would definitely recommend Mannia Audio & would use them again if I had to do it over!
