Pros: Awesome service throughout the resort, great selection of a la carte restaurants that require no reservation. The adults-only section of the resort is a true gem - it gives the resort an entirely different feel and it's a little slice of paradise.

Cons: Not all resorts are perfect, there are a few things I did not like though minimal and in no way ruined a fantastic stay. The bathrooms in the rooms are a bit strange — almost maze-like. When you immediately walk into your room, you’ll see the sink area to the right as well as a room for the shower and bathroom. It’s hard to explain the maze, but it’s not an ideal layout.  There is no 24-hour restaurant on-site, but you do have 24-room service.  I’m a huge beach person, so I love swimming in the ocean and just soaking in it all day. The beach here isn’t always swimmable as the tide can be rough. So I spent most of my time at the pool, specifically the adults-only pool which is a true treasure.

The service here truly stands out as the staff is eager to greet you with a warm smile at every corner and service at all the restaurants is excell

Now Onyx is a beautiful family friendly resort that offers something for everyone. The grounds are beautiful and easy to get around. There is an awesome adult's only pool section for adult's looking for a relaxing kid free pool area. Adult's also access to Breathless next door. Two resorts for the price of one. There are golf carts running back and forth between both properties but the resorts are side by side and easily walkable. The rooms were very nice and spacious with a barn door to close o
