Hello Brides (and Grooms!),
I was married May 5th, 2014 at the Iberostar Laguna Azul in Varadero, Cuba. It has taken me a few months to get this review completed, but better late than never! I honestly can't believe 3 months have already passed! The time has really flown!
SUNWING
We flew with Sunwing and had a really great experience with them. They really do treat wedding groups and the Bride and Grooms really well! Elite check in and upgraded seats and lots of extra champagne, plus

Pros: Everything positive about Cuba!
Cons: LOve Cuba, end of the story !
If I ever will be asked where to do and how to do wedding - the answer is Destination Wedding Rocks!!! I never considered wedding in the city like it’s done by years and years – I find it just extravagant dinner with random Church visit – no offence – just my opinion, and next day you remember nothing. So we decided to have beach wedding - the first country that came to our mind was Cuba. Don’t want to see DR anymore and definitely no Mexico with its crime.
Now, wedding at Iberostar Laguna Azu

At long last I am finally getting around to getting my review done from our recent wedding at Iberostar Laguna Azul in gorgeous Varadero, Cuba. We were married on May 4, 2011 (Kelly & Reese). As many of you know, I am also a travel agent and arranged the travel for 63 guests to our wedding. I am also working with several brides on this site and others who have chosen the IBL as well for their big day.
I suggest if you have a large group to organize a meet n greet upon arrival wher

Pros: Beautiful, new, clean resort, organized weddings
Cons: Snack bar selection, Disco won't continue to play your music after 11:00pm
We just returned from the best vacation ever! We had a great trip with wonderful people at a beautiful resort. I’ll try to sum it up as best I can for you:
Resort:
ILA is a huge, gorgeous resort. The ‘huge’ part could be seen as a positive or negative: on the bright side, there are tons of activities, a-la-carte restaurants, pools, bars and things to do. On the negative, it’s just a large space to try to locate your group in. I was a little concerned about this when we first got

Pros: New resort, nice pools & beach, beautiful ceremony option on the terrace, reasonably priced, great mojitos
Cons: Too many weddings in 1 day, neglected gardens, poor flower & decoration selection, no wedding beach gazebo, non-commital wedding coordinator

Hey Ladies!
Just got back from the ILA the other day. Wedding went well -- lots of little details for you girls, but I'm trying to catch up on 2 weeks of missed work right now so I'll try to keep this to a minimum. (It probably won't happen, but anyways...)
Ceremony - Had the ceremony on the spa terrace at 4pm. Despite the heat, there was a strong breeze blowing which kept guests cool, and the shade the terrace provides is perfect to keep guests from squintin
