Pros: Beautiful, Cost-effective, Accomodating
Cons: Nonchalant, Communication
I married my hubby at the Suites on March 12, 2011.  We arrived at the hotel on the 9th and so did most of our guests.  I had 33 people in total and everyone was overwhelmed by the beauty of the hotel.   Check in (A)- We arrived at the hotel at about 12pm, check-in isn't until 3pm however because we are the bride and groom we managed to get into an upgraded (oceanview) room by 1pm.  Our mothers also got upgraded to oceanview to my surprise.  We were greeted in the lobby by mimosas!  There

Hi BDW. This site was extremely helpful to me so I really hope that this helps someone else…Sorry for the late review but we had our AHR on October 24th, so I was still pretty busy packing up and sending Thank You Cards and such until recently. Here goes…   GETTING THE DATE AND DETAILS   Pre-Date Wedding Coordinator Communication (D) It took several weeks of emails and calls by our TA (LeAnn Decker, AAA Travel) for us to get our date of Friday, September 24, 2010. Of course, we we

Wedding: July 10, 2010 Stay: July 8 - 18, 2010   First, I must apologize for the delay of my review. Unfortunately I was hit by the flu immediately after I returned and then 12 days after my return I had to go in for major surgery (Myomectomy) therefore I was not in shape to write a decent review and when I returned to work, I found out I was loaned to this office in Zimbabwe, Africa and while there I only had access to high speed computer at work and there was no time to do personal st

Cons: restaurant reservations
I’ll start with the ‘not so good’ and make my way up to the Excellent! Arrival/Check-in: C We flew direct from Ottawa to Montego Bay on a Sunwing Airlines flight where we had upgraded seats (yay- leg room!) and arrived in Jamaica at about 8:30 pm on the Friday night. By the time we got through customs and onto the Sunwing bus that took us to the resort it was closer to 10:30 pm. The drive to the resort was only about 15 minutes and we were checking in by about 11:00 pm. Now, maybe it is be

Pros: Amazing staff and service, great food, awesome entertainment, beautiful hotel and beach
Cons: A little hard to make reservations for the a la cartes
I got married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on October 14, 2010. I stayed there from October 9-16th, and had a group of 37 people in total. I will go through everything hopefully in a nice organized fashion so it's easy to follow. In a quick few words - this was the best experience of my entire life, and it was by far the most amazing wedding and exceeded my expectations.   Check in: My group and I arrived at the hotel around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. We were greeted by the porters w

Pros: close to airport, one wedding per day, great entertainment crew
Cons: none
Our entire group had a wonderful time at IRHS.  Hubby and I plus 7 guests were there from 10/7-10/15.  Some stayed 4 days, some 5 and some the whole time with us.  Everyone LOVED the resort.  They thought it was the best place they've ever stayed.  Our guests ranged in age from 12-61 and never were bored.    Check In: in a word, EASY!  We were dropped off at the entrance by the shuttle, our luggage (and wedding dress) was neatly packed on a cart and we were greeted with Miami Vice's while we c
