This Private Villa is located in charming Akumal Playa, just 15 minute drive from Tulum, and only 60 miles from Cancun airport. The grounds at Casa Romero can accomodate a private wedding and reception for a small intimate group, or a large group of over 100 guests.
Casa Romero was one of the first houses in Akumal and the first on the lagoon. Totally renovated, this landmark retains is classic historical features with modern conveniences and air conditioning throughout. With three large air conditioned bedroom suites, the house holds up to 8 people in comfort and luxury.
For large family groups, or several families traveling together, Casa Romero offers large areas for big groups: living room, kitchen, outdoor pool area, etc. We can combine Casa Romero with one or more townhouses and can accommodate up to 28 people on the complex (plus another 14 at Casa Delfín).
Casa Romero is part of the "Romero Complex" which contains Casa Romero as well as the French Angel and Blue Tang townhouses. Built by a close associate of Pablo Bush Romero, the founder of Akumal, the Romero Complex occupies the best location in Akumal with direct access to Yal Ku Lagoon, and great views of both the lagoon and the ocean.

Casa Romero was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception. We were able to stay on site for the full week and enjoy the entire property. The property is located on the Yal ku lagoon which is so scenic and sublime. The home is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and the staff is pleasant. We were able to have our closest friends and family members vacation with us on the property which was so much fun!
