About:
The Shine Band originated in Veracruz. After their national travels they found themselves in Cancun, where they played for three years at the famous Pat O'Brian's Cancun. Since then they have been focusing more on private events, weddings, and conventions.
The Shine Band has a diverse repertoire that includes but is not limited to the 60´s, 70´s, 80´s, 90´s y 2000 (disco, rock, funk, pop, country, salsa, cumbia, merengue, reggae, bossa nova, bolero y jazz). They have multiple voices that cover anything from Elvis to Shakira!

The Shine Band was worth every penny and then some. For a Mexican-American wedding that had people from all over they had EVERYONE on the dance floor throughout the night. I have no idea how they did it for as long as they did but it was fantastic.

I had my wedding in March 2014 at Xcaret Park (absolutely amazing! would recommend this venue to any bride!) I am mexican and my now husband is english so I was very nervous about this topic. I was worried that my mexican side would get bored if we had too much international music that they didnt know what was going on, whilst the foreigners might get intimidated if they heard too much latin stuff going on they might get shy ;))

My feet hurt the next day from dancing so hard, and all our guests told us that it was one of the most fun weddings ever! The band literally had the dance floor full the entire night — grandmas in their 70's were dancing with little kids, strangers from different cities across the country were dancing with each other. The Shine band brought amazing energy to the party, and they were great musicians to boot.

The music played can really affect the atmosphere of a wedding and i'm so so glad i went with these guys. i was a little bit hesitant - as in 'why are there not more reviews' but its honestly the best decision i made. The manager jessy replies to emails super quickly and answers all your questions comprehensively, which is a big bonus. i had been starting to think that massive delays were just par for the course in mexico, but not with these guys. My husband and I searched far and wide to find the greatest band in Cancun. I am American and my husband is Mexican. Because of this, the wedding guests had quite a large gap in musical tastes, not to mention the range of ages. The Shine band seriously covers everything and has a voice for everything. No strange accent singing Elvis with this band.
