My husband and I had dinner at Ana y Jose on 3/16. We had a wonderful evening and it seemed we were at the start of an amazing vacation. We had the Grouper with vegetables and the stuffed Poblano pepper. At about 4am my husband awoke with severe abdominal pain, fever and was violently vomiting. This continued for the next 6 hours. Shortly after, I also became sick with the same severe pains and diarrhea. As a result we had to cancel our excursions and all plans, we spent the week exhausted and t

Pros: Pristine grounds, amazing staff, variety of rooms many with small personal pools, beautiful beachfront and multiple locations for the wedding dinner.
Cons: Pricey for Tulum standards.
After being less than impressed with the Ana y Jose Beach Club for our wedding location we were overwhelmed by the beauty of Ana y Jose Hotel. We immediately inquired about hosting our wedding there. To our pleasant surprise we found we would not have to rent the entire property (a common problem we ran into in neighboring hotels) and we would have a covered option for dinner should the weather not allow us to eat under the stars.
