Not having experience planning any sort of destination wedding can be stressful! We had to listen to the recommendations of our planners  both in Mexico and Stateside. Thank goodness we did! We were married on 11-22-14 at Excellence Resort outside of Cancun. We are particular about our music and we were concerned we would end up with the run of the mill generic DJ. I just had my wedding on December 20th at The Royal Playa del Carmen. We selected DJ Mannia as a recommendation from our wedding coordinator within the resort. She did not disappoint! Our wedding reception ended up having to get moved indoors because of rainy weather, and I thought for sure guests would be let down. I could not have been more wrong. We were pretty happy with them, we ask to meet in person when we got there and they met with us, there was DJ and MC was bilingual so it was perfect. they were very responsive on emails and they had a form for the couple to fill out so they have a better idea of the party and song requests.  we made some changes and they got the last song wrong but they were able to find the correct one and fixed it quickly. we also had a light up floor so it made the party a lot more fun since we had a dancing

DJ Mannia was great to work with.  They responded quickly to my emails and did a good job of communication to any questions we had.  The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the DJ messed up the intros.  We are a same sex couple and he introduced us as Mr. and Mrs. but quickly realized his mistake and fixed it.  I know he felt bad about that but we were actually laughing about it.  He also kinda bungled the other names in the bridal party (and we had a small group).  He also messed up

Let me start by saying they only played 5 songs out of the list I gave the person I met a few days before my wedding!! it was horrible! I had guests constantly going up to the dj booth to request songs because the ones they were playing were definitely not in our liking! they played the wrong garter toss song which just upset me even more, and to top it off they also played the wrong song for the LAST SONG!!! it was supposed to be our last moment to dance with all of our guests and surprise them

We used DJ Mannia for our wedding in Punta Cana at the Esmeralda Bahia Principe in April 2014. We are so glad we did! He was so attentive to our every need and made sure we were happy with everything. It made a world of difference for our reception and dance. A+  We chose DJ Mannia and they were fantastic to work with as well.  They sent us a list ahead of time to go over our music likes and dislikes, along with specific songs we wanted played or not played.  They followed our specs to a tee.  The DJ was very chill, which is what we wanted and his English was perfect.  They had a couple of cold fireworks that they lit, and it was a really nice touch.
