We started our business in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and thanks to our experience in the Hotels' industry for more than 10 years, we are standing today among the young companies with the widest portfolio. Pros: EVERYTHING you could ask for from a DJ!
Cons: he's very busy, so in the initial planning communication was slow.
Bottom Line: DJ Doremixx and his team are the utmost professional and most talented DJ's that you can book for your wedding in the Yucatan.

We used Ivan from DJ Doremixx for music and lighting at several of our wedding weekend events on May 5-7, 2011. Ivan was absolutely fantastic and was, without a doubt, one of the best wedding decisions that we made. DJ Doremixx played at our wedding at Ceiba del Mar and he was incredible to work with from start to finish. Communication was always great, with quick responses. Ivan came to meet with us at our resort a few days before the wedding just to go over everything one last time, which we really appreciated! We hird D.J. Doremixx for our wedding on May 10 2011 at dreams Tulum. I have noting bad to say at all.The communication between us and the DJ Was very easy and my WIFE was not stressing at all (after the meeting ). I highly recomend using Doremixx and prices is excatally what he says it is . also let him do his work and i guarntee you will have a great time . I know we did and at the very end we ended in the pool to cool off from dancing so much.

Cons: Our communication was mixed up a few times
We had Ivan from DJ Doremixx for our 4/30/11 wedding at Azul Sensatori. He played for 5 hours and really knew how to get people dancing. It seemed every time the party was starting to die down, they would bring out a new prop (balloons, glow sticks, masks) to get everyone excited again. I really liked how they blended the songs so as one song was ending, another was beginning. Pros: Easy to work with, good response time, listened to bride and what she wanted, and very professional.
Cons: Cannot think of even one!
Ivan was great to work with. He has a great selection of music that appealed to all ages. Our guests were on the dance floor all night.
Starting with the music during dinner, the volume was perfect so our guests could talk to each other and hear the conversation. The selection of music was fantastic.
Once the dancing started, the crowd was either on their feet dancing or hanging out near the dance floor enjoying others having a great time.

I was married at the Now Sapphire Riviera on February 26th. Our package came with a dj but we chose to use an outside vendor because we had heard such great reviews about Dj Doremixx. We were not disappointed in our decision! Any emails sent with questions were answered promptly. We set up a meeting in advance when we arrived in Mexico with Dj Doremixx and Dj Temo. They went over every little detail with us for about an hour and put our minds at ease.

We just got married April 16, 2011 @ Iberostar Del Mar and Ivan with DJ Doremixx was our DJ. You cannot go wrong with him! He was very helpful throughout our planning and always responded to our emails in a timely fashion. He even sent us a full playlist with 1000s of songs and an example of how the music would be played during the reception. I actually did not read any reviews about Doremixx prior to our March 5th wedding in Cancun, on the beach of The Royal in Cancun Resort. I had seen him in action when i visited back in December and I knew he could throw a great party on the beach.

Pros: Very talented.
The resort we had our wedding at recommended Doremixx. We were pleasantly surprised by their correspondence, english skills and talent.
Our wedding had a flare of Indian culture so the DJ incorported South Asian music without telling us...and we absolutely loved it!
Our guests said nothing but great things about their music. The DJ was able to hit every generation and made sure we danced until the last minute.

I had read great reviews on Ivan so exchanged email correspondence and decided to use him for my wedding. We met him for the first time the Monday before the wedding (we arrived in Mexico a week before our wedding) to discuss all of our song selections. He has many versions of all the wedding songs and dance music so it was much easier than I thought to select the music. Even with just this one meeting, I felt completely comfortable and confident with Ivan.

We interviewed three DJ's for my daughter's wedding. From the moment we met Ivan, we knew he was the one. He instilled the confidence that we would have the fun, upbeat, party that we were hoping for. I was planning my destination wedding and decided to start researching DJs in the area. Although they all seem to be very similar in price, Doremixx has so many extra benefits: fireworks, masks, light up dancefloor, balloon, etc. What really impressed me was that Ivan was willing to meet up with us in advance to discuss the plan. We hired Ivan from DJ Doremixx after reading numerous reviews on BDW and we would do it again in a heartbeat.
Communication with him via email has been excellent since the first time we contacted him, and he made the trip all the way to Dreams Tulum from Cancun to meet with us the day before the wedding and go over everything.

I used DJ Doremixx at my wedding reception at El Dorado Royale on 1/8/2011 and he was fantastic.
We had a wide variety of ages and he was able to get my 75 year old parents up on the dance floor tearing it up! It was incredible. Everyone had a fantastic time.

I had read many great reviews from other brides about Doremixx (www.doremixx.com) as a DJ for other wedding in the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen area and Doremixx was even better than I imagined. Believe me, this is a compliment, because I am the pickiest bride. I was very nervous, since I am live in California and didn’t know what to expect from a DJ in Mexico. I have to say Ivan who owns Doremixx runs one of the best DJ companies in Mexico. He assigned DJ Temo to my wedding and he was fabulous!

At first, I was leery of spending $300/hr for a DJ. We only had 37 people and I wasn't sure it would be worth it. I could not have been MORE wrong! Doremixx TOTALLY made our party! All of the music was awesome, fun dance music. Our guests couldn't sit in their seats!! We were joking that our party started dancing before dinner was even served... to the background music! Ivan DJ'd for my wedding at The Royal PDC on 11.24.10 and he was amazing! What I liked was that he met with us a couple of days before at the resort and went through each song we needed for first dance, garter toss, cake cutting etc. He downloaded clips and played them for us to ensure he had the right version- I loved this! We did have the light up dance floor which I thought was a little on the small side at first so I was slightly worried (we had 60 guests) but it worked out perfectly! No worries!! We used Ivan as well- and he was phenonimal! I gave him a very detailed list of what we wanted played and he played every single song (that I can remember!)
