We started our business in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and thanks to our experience in the Hotels' industry for more than 10 years, we are standing today among the young companies with the widest portfolio. We had DJ Doremixx for our wedding on October.23 2012 and they were great!
We contacted them back in November of 2011 and we had pretty slow communication, but that is the norm. I did stress a bit when we had to change the times for the wedding, and I didnt get any confirmation whether or not they had received the changes. But they showed up on time, had everything setup and we were ready for us.

They did a great job at the wedding! We provided them with a list of songs we wanted played and every single one was played, the whole wedding party was on the dance floor the entire reception! I wasn't sure how well the balloons, glow sticks, and masks would go...but the crowd loved it! They really had a great time, the props definitely added to their fun! I could not have been more pleased with the job they did! Our dinner even ran longer and they played some good dinner music.

I first read about DJ Doremmix here on Destination Wedding. I am a bride from the UK so I was a bit skeptical about booking a DJ to have in Mexico, due to the transfer of money etc. I had nothing to worry about at all!! They always replied to my emails within a day which was great considering our time difference.

Can I just say how absolutely FANTASTIC they are!! I booked with Ivan 2 years ago and music was one of our biggest priority since our family lovessss to dance! I was concerned at first about the balance of different genres of songs but I had absolutely nothing to worry about at all. We couldn't have been happier with DJ Doremixx! We got married at Royal Cancun on 6/25/12. As soon as we met him we knew we picked the right person for the job. They did such a good job at the wedding mixing and transitioning songs, that our guests were so impressed. I had some guests who are music snobs approach me and tell me how good my DJ Temo was.

Cons: Did not bring props or play a song REQUESTED by the bride!
I had a totally different experience than expected. When I met with the wedding planner he was not there to meet with us. I did email them the song list along with the wedding planner giving him our music time line also. I received an email prior stating that there would be mixing of music and lots of props. There was no mixing of music going on the entire time. I might as well made a playlist on my ipod. As for props, they handed out balloons ONLY. There was was NO masks or glow sticks like the

My husband and I used DJ Doremixx for our wedding at the Gran Caribe Real in April 2012. We thought it was a little expensive, however, it was totally worth it! We had 55 guests come for our wedding and we were worried how we were going to entertain them during the reception. Hiring Ivan was the best decision to get the party moving! We had DJ Doremixx at our wedding at Azul Beach Hotel on April 7th 2012. Don't even think of booking anyone else. My hotel likes using their in house Dj but I had read so many good reviews on here that I had to book them even if I had to pay the out of vendor fee. Anyway my family loves to dance so I knew I wanted good music. The music makes the party no fun if everyone is sitting down the whole time.

I had the pleasure of working with Ivan at DJ Doremixx on February 12, 2012 at Villas del Palmar. He was beyond amazing and completely exceeded my expectations. The email process was excellent from the decision making process to final arrangements. They got back to me within 24 hours on every question and request.

Pros: Organized, Fun!
Cons: The night had to end!
These poor guys! I was kind of a zilla fearing a dancefloor filled with props and "YMCA" -- so I provided a very clear song list and directions. They followed to a T, and took well-chosen liberties (when my brother made a request, they obliged gladly). I wasn't sure about the light-up dancefloor, but this turned out to be a hit with guests and photoviewers (to quote "i loved the billy jean dancefloor!" ). Great value, great vendor.

Pros: Professional, on time, actually mixed the music!
I was originally about to book with the standard DJ the resort offered, but made a last minute decision to go with Doremixx, after reading the reviews. In retrospect, after seeing others using the "stock" resort DJ, this was one of the best decisions we made; it made the difference between a kick-ass wedding, and a mediocre wedding. I am so happy we chose Doremixx. The price is much more affordable than most DJ's and their price includes cold fireworks, party props and great lighting.

We hired Doremixx because a friend of us did recommend them, we were not really interested or really aware of the importance of the DJ, we have no words to say how cool our wedding was, we were thinking on having an iPod only, but hell! we were soooo wrong!!!!

DJ Temo and Ivan are absolutely the best. Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful especially when you can’t meet with your vendors well in advance. We met with Ivan few days before our wedding and once we met him, all of our worries went away as he was nice, professional, and very well prepared. DJ Ivan was the DJ at my wedding at Azul Beach Hotel on 12-03-2011 and he was fantastic. He came to my hotel earlier in the week and we went over the songs and the intros for the bridal party. On the wedding day, he was there set up, all of the intro's were great and we went right into our first dance where we had the cold fireworks. They were fantastic and surprised everyone there! So Ivan is by far the best DJ i have ever met! We just got back from our wedding at the Royal Playa del Carmen. Ivan was so professional, we met a few days before the wedding to go over things. Awesome DJ/entertainment for our weddign reception! We got married at the Valentin Imperial Maya this past year and the hotel recommended DJ Ivan Gomez. He was very easy to communicate with through email never took more than a day or two to respond. He played exactly what we requested and honored our do not play list. I knew immediately after getting engaged that the music played at wedding receptions makes or breaks the night. Therefore after much research, I went with Ivan from Doremixx.
After giving him a list of must play, do not play, when to play etc.. he was able to follow it without a problem and made the night more fun than I could have imagined!

I have to say we were not going to hire a DJ because we were going to be charged an outside vendor fee by our resort and their DJ's were not that well reviewed. After reading reviews and not wanting to worry about an ipod all evening I have to say we would forgo flowers, cake, photographer to have DJ Doremixx if we had to do it all over again.

DJ Doremixx is awesome!!! You should definitely hire him for you wedding! Everyone at my wedding was dancing the entire night and we didn't sit down once!!! It was so incredibly hot at my wedding (middle of July in Mexico) and we all had sweat pouring off of us (gross)! Us sweating that much didn't even stop us from dancing. The music he played was great, and everyone has told me that he was incredible. I can't say enough great things about DJ Doremixx!!!

DJ Doremixx was the dj for my wedding at the Grand Palladium White Sands. He is the best! My husband had wanted a particular song for our entrance to be played at a particular part of the song and DJ Doremixx was able to do it for us. All of my guests danced the night away. Some even forgot to eat because they were having such a great time dancing. It was the best night of my life!

The staff at DJ Doremixx with whom we worked for our wedding at Azul Sensatori (Patricia for logistics and Ivan as our DJ) were AMAZING! The initial communication was professional and they provided all of the details you need up front to make an informed decision about hiring them. The one concern I had was paying the deposit through Western Union, which I had never done, but it worked out fine.
