Working with Patty and Kristen was the best experience! I recommend them 100% to anyone planning a destination wedding. They answer emails super quick and are always available to answer any question. They were accommodating with our guests and their payment schedules.
They even travelled to DR during our planning and came back with reviews about the hotel we had chosen for our guests :) it helped with any doubts or concerns I had when reading the online reviews.

When you start your journey as a destination bride, the most important decision you will make (after saying "Yes!"), is your travel agent. Using Wright Travel is the best decision you will make!!!!!! I am so grateful that I found them.

DO NOT try to coordinate yourself! There's a reason there are people who specialize in weddings and groups :)

Dealing with Wendy Hicks at Wright Travel for my wedding group block was so easy! Definitely take advantage of using her for your wedding and you will not be disappointed. I used her for my honeymoon as well, and it was completely organized and beautiful! The wedding block was so much easier to have her correspond with all of the guests, and she provided the list that the resort requested. Patty and Kristen were AMAZING! Being the skeptic that I am, I was at first nervous using a travel agency outside my state. But this was truly one of the best decisions I made. Patty helped me from the very begining of my destination wedding journey. I was struggling in choosing a resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They were patient and understanding, and even offered suggestions in choosing a resort. They also helped me schedule site vists when I went to visit Punta Cana, December 2013.

Patty and Kristen were beyond amazing. I had decided to have a destination wedding a little over a year before our chosen day and contacted the travel agent my cousin had used for her wedding. I explained that I was looking to book for 30+ people worldwide. She assured me that this was not an issue, charged me $100.00 in consultation fees and began to look into the resorts I was interested in. Patty & Kristen were pros at herding my family for my destination wedding. They were available to calm their concerns and able to give thorough explanations of everything. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone! They also negotiated the best rates and were able to get promotions for me the resort didn't want to give.

Babs Vong...the lady that made my decision to have a destination wedding easy and with NO regrets! If you have any hesitation at all to use Babs and Wright Travel Agency, please don't! Barbara at Wright Travel was a god-send when it came to helping plan and book our destination wedding. She always responded within 24 hours to all of our inquiries-including when we first contacted her for assistance in choosing a country and resort to host our special day. We just got back from our destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. We stayed at the Riu Palace which was absolutely amazing! There were 49 people total in my group. Wright Travel Agency helped all of my guests book with a group rate. By doing this we all stayed in the same wing of the resort which everyone loved! They also provided me with a list of all of my guests, and when they would arrive in Cabo so I could greet all of them and when they left. Transportation was included to and from the reso

Both Patty and Kristen were a huge help during the planning process. Many of my guests had a few too many issues and questions regarding travel and I am so thankful that I decided to get a travel agent. They were able to take a load of the responsibility so I could focus on other wedding planning. I should also mention how sweet and patient they both are. Thank you so much for your help!!

Cons: Reservation form is not as intuitive.
I worked with Babs Vong as my travel agent for my wedding and it was one of the best experiences I had! She was very responsive to all of our emails and responded within 24 hours which was one of the best things ever! All of my guests were complimenting on how responsive Babs was which made it reassuring that they were taken care of.
The only downside was the reservation form is not the most intuitive form, I'm not sure how it can be improved but, for some it was difficult to navigate through.

Pros: great if you have large party, free
We just got back from Sandals Negril, it was great vacation and Wedding, we are coming back to Jamaica next year. Our TA was Barbara Vong, we didn't have large party to organize, but Babs worked with us for almost over a year helping with different rates and overall information and ensured we got what we wanted. She was very quick when we decided to switch hotels. She was a great buffer in communicating with the hotels, one thing less to worry when planning a wedding. Thanks, Babs

Cons: Vouchers for rooms where people were arriving on different days.
I'm not one to typically write a review, but I want to let everyone know that they will not regret using Wright Travel Agency. My travel reps were Patty and her daughter Kristen. They got me a great group rate and I even received a credit back because I booked enough rooms for my wedding party. That was a nice surprise! I was also impressed with the service I got from the airport transporation company, which was included in my rate and provided by Wright Travel, upon my arrival to Punta Cana

Patty was great to work with! She was very prompt and very curteous during discussions (unlike some other agents in other agencies that we've worked with). She was willing to go with whatever we decided, and was very flexible, never pushing her own opinion. She gave us many alternatives, and helped us sort out all sorts of situations. She sent us nice messages, and made our lives much easier. Twas a pleasure!

I used Wendy as the TA for my destination wedding. The first great things about Wendy is how experienced she is. She knows the ins and outs of each resort and is able to give a lot of advice on the type of resort that's best for you when booking. She is a great resource for advice on choosing resort, plus on handling the wedding itself and the travel to and from.
She handled all the communication with my guests which was so nice in order to confirm bookings, pay, get documents out etc. F

Great travel agency.
Patty did a superb job coordinating our wedding at the Majestic Colonial. She arranged rooms for 40+ guests and travel for a good amount of them. Everything went off without a hitch and we received a great rate. We appreciate everything that she did. Highly recommend.

I worked with Barbara V at Wright Travel Agency and she was amazing. Not only did she respond to my zillions of emails she helped with items outside of travel arrangements. She coordinated 38 people for my Jamaican wedding and continuously updated me on who booked what and would send an updated spreadsheet of people's arrival and departure dates. I worked with Patty Jordan and Kristen while I was planning my destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. Both of them were a pleasure for us to work with. Patty's experience and professionalism put me at ease from the start and Kristen is very responsive and always answered my emails/calls right away. They were also helpful to guests who had issues or problems with their travel plans due to illness, and they helped me reach out to the wedding planner at the resort when she was unresponsive.

Pros: Great service! Arranged the trips for international guests from 6 different countries! They make their best to accomodate all your needs
When we began planning our wedding at Dreams La Romana Hotel (Dominican Republic) we had a great challenge in front of us: we had guests coming from the United States, but also guests coming from Spain, France, Holland and Mexico. I actually found Patty on this website. When I contacted her, she responded almost immediately and she's been a flawless travel agent for us. We've had a lot of late guests making reservations, and she's been accommodating throughout.
