Pros: Great resort for families with kids and weddings
Cons: BEach area is small
We had about 70 guests (56 adults and 14 kids under the age of 14) for our wedding at Dreams. We had a travel agent work with our guests to book their trips. The majority of the guests flew in from Denver, CO so it was a pretty easy trip. We made out of town bags for our guests and they included:
Bags – from Oriental Trading
Wedding Week Survival Kit / In Sickness and Health Bags- These small bags consisted of hand sanitizer, sun screen, aloe vera gel, chap stick, band aids, Tylenol, and p

I can't say enough about this venue and the incredible staff...
Depending upon your priority and budget, this is an amazing place to get married! The best way to review this is to articulate our wedding wants/needs.
First and foremost, as avid travelers, my family and my now husband expect a lot out of our vacations. We have always stayed at high-end resorts in a vast array of tropical settings - the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Dominican Republic, as well as many European trips

Pros: Service, Wedding Coordinators
Cons: We had to leave!
Resort: From our first second there, the hotel was amazing. The location, although was around an hour to get there, was perfect and secluded. It was amazing to have a marina on one side to see boats & dolphins and the ocean on the other. The view from each of the rooms we went into was beautiful. We especially loved our Deluxe Ocean View from the 5th floor. It was wonderful-on the day of the wedding, right before the ceremony it rained for about 10 minutes and a rainbow came out!!! The photo

We got married at Dreams PA on June 12, 2012 and absoluetly loved it. No regrets on our choice of resort! The price was right for most of the people invited to afford it and it was beautiful.

Ride from the airport: was just over an hour long. We went through Apple Vacations so the host on the bus was very entertaining, the ride went by fast and we were greeted with a cold washcloth and a drink on our arrival. The beach area that is swimmable is small, but this did no

Helllo ladies!!!!
I am just so excited for each and every one of you who are next..... It was a perfect day for us.
We saw a lot of weddings happen too, and my family even talked to one brides family who didnt have the best experience - so I will tell you what we did and what we saw to hopefully help in any decision making!
First off, Jacki is fantastic. She's an Aussie and is straight to the point, I loved her. If you want something else and want to change anything - she

Ladies,
it took me long enough to come back to the site to write a quick review. Everything at our September 2, 2011 wedding went really really well--Sandra ended up being our coordinator, and the girl knows exactly what she is doing! The staff and the location were PERFECT for our group. All of our 50 guests kept asking whether we've been to the resort before because they couldn't believe that we picked it remotely just based on research and online reviews. I think everyone enjoyed them

Pros: Intimate, good service, large rooms, the WC Sandra was fantastic!
Cons: small resort, not a lot of entertainment
We got married at Dreams PA on june 3rd 2011. We were a group of about 30 adults and 7 kids from toddlers to older age. We are from Sweden and planned our whole wedding over email, we had never been to this resort before, but we were at Dreams Puerto Vallarta last year and loved it. We choose this resort from the pictures in the broschyr.

It's got a nice lobby and the rooms seem to be pretty newly renovated, they are all high standard and pretty spacious. The resort is

We arrived on April 18 and left on April 26.
AMERICAN EAGLE/AMERICAN AIRLINES to Cancun
A+
We live in a town with a regional airport, so we flew out AE to Dallas, than AA to Cancun. The flight to Dallas was fine. The plane is very small so most carry-on luggage has to be “valeted” to under the plane. There were no issues with anyone’s things not turning back up upon landing and the airplane steward offered to take my lime green ga

Airline: biggest F ever!
Airtran was the absolutely the worst airline I have ever flown on! I’ve flown a lot. From A-Z the worst. Even if they gave me a free ticket…..I WILL NEVER FLY THAT AIRLINE AGAIN!! Trust and believe…..you will regret flying with them. Enough said!!

Pros: Love the location
Cons: smaller property so may not suite everyon
I have to say I sell Dreams resorts allot for destination weddings, mainly Dreams Riviera Cancun and Dreams Villa Magna in Nuevo Vallarta. I don't sell allot of Puerto Aventuras but it's personally one of my favorite resorts. I love the intimate setting and wedding gazebo on the beach. This resort is ideal for smaller wedding groups who want a relaxing 5 star experience and being close to family and friends.
Sincerely Liz Moore- [email protected]
