We got married at the Grand Sirenis on January 21, 2015. We had 45 people total who flew out of Calgary, Toronto, and some lived in Mexico.
The resort was on a recommendation from our travel agent and one that was never on our radar.
Communication at times could be slow, but I found I always had a reply in 2-3 days, sometimes a week. Booking was easy and the ladies supplied us with ample documents of extras to be able to make all our decisions.
We decided to use the free package an

PART 1
PLANNING & BOOKING:
We asked around and were referred to a couple of travel agents. The one that eventually impressed us the most with her prompt replies and honest answers was at AMA Travel, so we decided to go with them. The selecting of the resort proved to be a much more difficult task….
CHOOSING A RESORT
We were pretty limited in selecting a resort because of my husband’s family coming from small town BC. In order to get anywhere they required an a

My Wedding Review! Finally!
First of all, I could not have planned this wedding without the help of my wonderful travel agent. She took care of the details, and last minute hiccups, which we truly appreciate. Use your travel agent as they are an excellent resource during the planning stages all the way though to when you arrive home.
My husband and I decided to travel with Air Transat, because the larger planes accommodated our needs, and wedding packages were so affor

Where do I start.... I got Married May 10th 2012 on the beach and had the Palalpa for the reception.
When we arrived we where put in a mini suite in block 24, the building was under maintenance lots of painters and my room looked like it has been slept it, it was no where near ready. But after a little complaining it was cleaned and looked ok. p.s a Mini suite is a regular room with an extra bedroom- which was ok, we needed the space to get ready in. As the wedding got closer i was conce

Hi Ladies,
So I joined this forum about 9 months ago and I just got back from my wedding on February 5th, so I thought I would give back the reviews and some pics of the wedding seeing as though I got so much info from this website (thanks so much to all who have posted such great ideas and suggestions).
Flight: Air Transat
We flew with Air Transat First Class and it was well worth the money we spent. We received double the baggage allowance (if your a bride, this is well w

Pros: great value, exquisite, elegant and extraordinary!
Cons: none!
My fiance and I visited the Grand Sirenis on a last minute deal in January 2010, and we were blown away. The lobby is so impressive and it just keeps on going like that...outstanding! We spent so many days at the beach and there was never an issue finding lounges, the food was amazing (often we couldn't eat everything we wanted to try, and the next night was completely different), the bar service on the beach was a nice touch, and the staff were just so very friendly. We spent many evenings

Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Rocky Beach
Stayed here in 2009, rooms were very nice. Food was great, pools are huge and nice. Beach is a little rocky, but visually stunning. Really enjoyed the ice cream parlour and lazy river.
