The Aventura Spa Palace and Aventura Cove Palace will be transitioned to the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in 2013. Everyone’s got an all access pass to experience this all-inclusive oasis. Couples, families and even kids deserve the rock star treatment.
The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya offers a family and adults-only side to create a truly one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive escape for guests of all ages. The family side has 489 spacious guestrooms, three restaurants with something delicious for everyone, cannon-ball worthy pools and water activities.
The adult side has 777 decadent guestrooms, four bars to shake things up and a grotto pool that turns into an anything-goes-nightclub after hours.

Pros: La Hacienda (best restaurant!), the Spa (hydrotherapy a must!), the horse & carriage (highly recommend!), the resort grounds & staff service
Cons: The wedding department’s organization & lack of coordination
Aventura is a beautiful resort, the staff was VERY friendly & accommodating, and overall our wedding group of 46 enjoyed a wonderful stay! SO, if I was just reviewing a vacation – the rating would be higher. But unfortunately there were MANY things that went wrong that make me hesitate to suggest having a wedding there.

Hey Everyone
Got back on Friday and let me tell you our week there was PERFECT - and i was SCARED after reading trip advisor. We had a welcome dinner on Friday night and it got moved to the ballroom in the convention center because it was expected to rain. They did a great job. There was 35 of us and everyone was impressed. We had our ceremony in the Cove Gazebo - it was a breathtaking setting and everyone appreciated the cover from the sun. We had our cocktail on the pandero terrace. It

Pros: the resort and grounds are beautiful
Cons: almost everything else
I started the planning process for my wedding in February 2011, the wedding was to be set for Feb 2012 so I thought we were good, I began a series of phone calls and emails designed to tour resorts in the Playa del Carmen area in April. I sent multiple emails, multiple calls to the miami booking number, no response at all I finally sent an email to a rep that another bride on a blog I frequent had as a contact and managed to arrange the tour.
