Pros: the size of resort, the views, very friendly and helpful staff
We decided on the Sunscape Durado Pacifico Ixtapa Mexico as I had been to this resort in 2013 and 2014 and my fiance' in 2014. We liked the size of the resort, the friendliness of the staff and so much more- so we invited friends and family to join us for our Feb. 2015 destination wedding. We ended up with 33 people total. Pros: English speaking coordinators, not as touristy as Cabo or Cancun, everyday is sunny and at least 75!!!
Cons: Just because the tequila is free, doesn't mean you have to partake all day!
My wife and I recently got married at the Resort, Sunscape Dorado Pacifico Ixtapa, and were amazed at how PERFECT it turned out. When you plan a wedding like this it is not just difficult because you are so far away and don't have a chance to do a hands on walk through of the events you want to have. Cons: Some nights there are longer waits for the restaurants.
My wife and I had our wedding here at the Sunscape Dorado Ixtapa in January 2013. We had 102 guest attend from all around Canada, USA and Australia. We all know with that amount of people there would be some complaints but we nor the hotel received nothing but complements. Our experience was absolutely amazing.
