Pros: Onsite Coordinator attention to detail
Cons: Miami Coordinator did not follow up on hotel confirmation issues
We had stayed at MP for our 10th anniversary,15th anniv. at Aventura Spa Palace and chose MP to renew our vows for our 20th. I read many forums on weddings at Palace Resorts and there were pros and cons, but for our experience overall it was wonderful. Our Miami coordinator, Marlyn Toban, answered emails and calls promptly, very helpful. We had an issue with our check in, that she was able to clear up quickly. She worked with us getting last minute room bookings taken care of, which was great!

Pros: All-inclusive, close to airport, beautiful grounds, jacuzzis, tons of wedding venues to choose from...
Cons: Large resort (not necessarily a bad thing), cookie-cutter resort (not boutiquey like some others)
Ladies, so I went down to MP Riviera Maya to check out the resort for our Nov 2011 wedding. We are having a traditional Indian wedding, so we were looking for some very specific things. I've included my overall resort notes below with a bunch of pictures (sorry in advance for the super long post!) -- my next post will be about the ceremony/reception sites we looked at. Def let me know if you have any questions, happy to help anytime!
First of all, we had no trouble booking our transf

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning
I can’t believe it’s my turn to write my review. I felt like yesterday, I was reading them and trying to decide on a resort. I want to thank Tammy, past and current brides for all the support and wedding advice. I actually made some real friends out of this process. Shout out to JennW and Amara3CUS. I will be forever grateful to the BDW.com for helping me plan the most AMAZING wedding ever! I truly had the wedding of my dreams!

Msredd’s Moon Palace Review-May 15, 2011
Well ladies, it is my turn to write my review. I must admit it is bittersweet…the end of a year long road of planning and sharing ideas with all of you lovely women. Also a big thank you to Tammy, the mods and the past brides again. I have borrowed so many great ideas from past brides that I can’t remember them all. I am paying all the info and templates that I borrowed from here forward.
My fiancee’ and I have been together since 1989. We have

Pros: Complimentary wedding package, $1500 resort credit to do excursions, beautiful rooms, great service,
Cons: Bad communication with coordinator, size of resort
We were married at the Moon Palace on 3-11-11.
PLANNING - F
This was a struggle. We picked Moon Palace because it was relatively close to the airport, the resort credit and complimentary weddings. I did my booking with a local MN travel agent. Once I got into the planning process I asked my Miami wedding coordinator(Carilis) if I qualified for the wedding benefits. She said to talk to my travel agent about it. My travel agent submitted me for it and a month later said I was approved.
