Pros: Beautiful Wedding, Excellent Service
Cons: Size of the resort, Check in process, Communication
Communication (C-) - started out horrible. we must have dealt with 5 different people throughout the time we booked until the time we arrived. communication in the beginning was slow to nil. Until we received an email from our planner, Edith about 2 months before the wedding. She was awesome, thorough, quick to respond and took care of all the planning details up until the time we received our coordinator 30 days before the wedding.
Check In Process (F) - this was so bad we were rea

Pros: beautiful grounds, lots to do, good food, warm pool and beach water
Cons: slow service, resort credits, bride & groom poor room experience
I would first like to thank all the ladies on the forums for all their help and indispensible wealth of information during my planning process. I am deeply appreciative of all the reviews and answers to my questions. That said, I am paying it forward by giving the most realistic review that I can about my entire experience. I am hoping that my review will help other brides realize the positives and negatives about having a destination wedding and having it at Moon Palace specifically. I also wan

Pros: Zaray on-site wedding coordinator
Cons: Miami wedding coordinators
Overall we had a wonderful experience and wedding at Moon Palace. The beginning of the process was extremely frustrating with the Miami office and lack of communication but once I started working with Zaray at Moon Palace directly things went smoothly.
Check In: The check in was real easy for us. We walked in and they handed each of us a glass of champagne and each of the kids were given a soda of their choice. Our rooms ended up being a couple of buildings apart but it worked out fine.

Pros: Service at the resort was generally excellent (with a couple of notable exceptions)
Cons: Pre-arrival communication was very poor
AOverall, we had a great wedding and were very happy. That said, we had some issues. Although they didn’t ultimately detract from our wedding, they were annoying enough that I doubt we’ll return to MP. This is a review of our entire experience, so some of it may not reflect on MP specifically (e.g., travel agent experience). The pictures are the few my friends and family have provided to date; we don't have our real pictures yet.

We got married at Moon Palace 5/6/12. We had a dream wedding and would recommend it to anyone! We wouldn’t have changed a thing! We did the Nizuc Beach which was literally right next to the Tucan Terrace. It was the most beautiful setting I have ever seen for a wedding. We were thoroughly impressed and so were all of our guests, we had 27 other people that attended. If you are contemplating destination wedding-go for it! Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to and Palace resorts

PHENOMINAL experience. Hands down the best resort ever. Service was exponentially phenomenal. I just had my wedding here two weeks ago to the day and it was the most amazing experience and most memorable day of my life.
The wedding planning team is fantastic, the photography the resort provides is incredible and the resort itself offered the most amazing amenities and service. I like the finer things in life and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was blown away at the outstanding

Pros: Great Service, Easy for Big Groups, fantastic Wedding Coordinator!
Cons: Food could be better
After hearing through the grapevine that the Palace Resorts offered a wonderful wedding package we decided to explore further and we were very happy with what we found. We arrived in May with 50 guests and had an incredibly week of food, fun, sun and endless frozen drinks. The activity pool was our home everyday and the incredibly Ibeth Ku was our server who always had on a smile and never stopped hussling to bring us drinks and food. She was truly awesome. Every night, we partied at the Swing B
