Hi Sweetpea2018 and 2017weddingguy, I'm currently researching venues in Jamaica and took an exploratory trip there last month. We didnt have Azul Sentatori on our final list but at the suggestion of a chef at our hotel in Runaway Bay, we made the trip. No appointment, no tour requested, no guarantee they would even let us past the gate. Thankfully, when we arrived we were able to get an abridged impromptu wedding site inspection tour. The immediate curb appeal of the hotel driving up to the gate, leaves much to be desired, but once we got into the front lobby, we were absolutely blown away!! We even got a glimpse of wedding that was being set up, and it looked really beautiful. The setting couldn't have been more serene. If you are planning on having 20+ guests I HIGHLY suggest you contact the wedding team. After a peek at the wedding we (me, my fiance and parents) were invited invited to the wedding department, where they showed us pictures of other weddings, let us look through books of sample menus, flower arrangements, entertainment, everything. We toured the entire northern coast of Jamaica during our visit, none of the sunsets on the island can beat what we saw in Negril. The only drawback for me is that Negril is far away from some of some of Jamaica's biggest attractions that I want my family and friends to experience during their trip (Dunn's River, Bamboo Rafting, Bobsledding, Blue Hole). But I just may have to get over it. After all, Negril has the 7-mile beach! I'm still torn as to which location to choose - Negril or Runaway Bay. I included a picture of the wedding set-up we saw. It was a sunset wedding and it had just rained. The picture doesn't really do it justice, because even as a passerby the wedding not only looked beautiful but FELT beautiful; and isn't that what you want on your wedding day? I hope you can see why I'm so torn. We are hoping to get married next summer. Need to decide soon - eek! Below are some pics of our speedy but wonderful tour at Azul Sensatori in early May 2016.
