    Woah where did you see 25 per person set up fee?! That's ridiculous it should be included. My reception is on the terrace of the Brazilian restaurant so inside outside. I just went over my contract and don't see anything for the 25 per person set up. I'm going there Monday I'm so anxious at this point. I feel like my fiance will rage if theres one more hidden fee.

    Oooh I see so you choose dishes from each area per the options. My coordinators email didn't make much sense at all I was like why is she saying we can mix and match I don't want to try all these dishes and then be like oh I cant have the jerk chicken and snapper bc they are two different options. I asked if it was possible to add to the sit down menu maybe two dishes instead of one. My fiance thinks the buffet isn't classy. I don't mind the buffet but I also feel like I've just accepted it at the point but we did choose lavish and opulent as well so may be stuck with the buffet. It stinks bc I really like option 2 but I hate the sale and dessert that comes with that option. I wish u could build your own menu

    Hey guys I just got an email from my coordinator asking me what 3 entrees I'd like to try....this confuses me. When you guys did the tasting (if you did) did your coordinator say this? Also did you guys pick an option from the menu list (option 1 option 2 ECT) bc the email I got is saying to pick three entrees from all the otpions

    It's exciting I'll be in your boat October 1-3rd I'll be going down to check it out. My coordinator said she couldn't meet with me on a weekend so hopefully she'll have plenty of time on a mondat-wednesdat

    I'm using beach bum vacations the specialize in destination weddings. I'm working with Danialle whose been to the Hyatt and was a destination bride herself. She has so many tips and has been quite amazing. We started off with three hotels and she helped us narrow it down. As far as the group rates go I havnt had to many negatives besides my fiance's mom but I think she just mad were not doing a church wedding at home As far as using beach bum vacations I highly recommend Danialle responds to me within a few hours always unless shes on vacation in which she lets me know a head of time . I believe company is based in Chicago so they work out of central time so sometimes my 7am emails go unanswered until she's in the office .     I'm stating at the zilara side and so are most of my guest in fact I don't think any are booking ziva even though I gave them the option Incase some wanted to bring their children. You'll be seeing the rooms in real life before I do As for center pieces I'm not doing any floral arrangements I want candles and shells so basically think I'm doing it myself. I'm only expecting 40 or so guests. I'll have to confirm how many sit at a table but I bet I'll only have to make a few arrangements. I'd rather spend the money on decor

    It's Denisha. She's was great in the beginning but now I keep getting an auto response when I email her saying she's out of office will be back September 5th...it's the 13th I'm anxious to get time to do a hair and makeup trial. I'm sure they'll have plenty of open slots when I'm there I just like things set in stone

    im almost certain that i am bringing my own centerpieces. I dont even know the prices for theirs My wedding planner from the resort takes forever to return my emails sometimes so I just gave up on asking prices. I'l look at it agian when im there in a few weeks. As for flowers im not having the traditional bridal party. Still having bridesmaids but they wont walk or stand with us so i dont need to get their flowers. Just another way to save.

    Of course! I have the flower packet but of course it exoired or something the link no longer works I was just going to post it. They do have a very large selection of flowers and center pieces. The one thing that took me off guard was the menu. Apparently if you want to do sit down service u can only have one entree so have to do a buffet but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. But I'm pretty excited overall to check out the proper. I'll be getting hair and makeup trial as well so I can comment on that as well

    Tiffany, ive gotten complains. My fiance's mom doesn't want to stay at zilara and is complaining about the $100 outside fee to attend. I personally have about had it with her and her complaints so I'm not even offering to pay it for her. We offered her a COMP ROOM and she denied it. Every other guest is staying on location for at least the wedding several others are just staying the 3 night min then going to another hotel. As far as vendors I haven't booked anything but photography with an outside company and they cover the fee or i have to just pay $100 i can't remember =) I'm going down the first wee in October for our big day preview so I can ask some questions if anyone has some

    Wear are you getting your ties?? I'm doing the same thing. I just got the floral booklet so I'll have to ask for prices bow...i didn't think they'd be that high I only want something small I did book a big day preview ! Won't be going til October but I'll be sure to gather everyone questions before then!

    Lol well looks like my coordinator is behind the times I'll have to get the updated list. I'd assume it would be the DJ with sounds system. The other may just be an MC type deal

    On mine it's DJ (Disco) 375 with 16.5% entertainment fee. But I'm pretty sure the 375 is 2016 rate. But I confirmed with my coordinator that that's the right DJ. Did you get 2017 rate prices?

    Hi ladies! My wedding is May 13 2017. I was planning on sending my save the dates out soon (atleast by June) but having alot of mixed reactions from friends and family saying it's too early. Literally everything I read on line says the earliest the better. The wedding will be in Jamaica and I have a wedding website that will be on the save the date. The only thing keeping me from sending them yet is my guest can't book their flights until July for next may. Any thoughts ladies?

    Hi!! My wedding is May 13 at Hyatt zilara in jamaica. So far the save the dates will e out next week. Im in the process of booking a photographer ( the group i want to go with seem to be on island time =p) Room blocks are done and wedding website up!
