I am from Texas (U.S.) I am hoping the $4500 will cover everything. I think we have decided to get married here in the U.S. legally so we wont have to do the blood test and pay extra. So the $4500 I am hoping will pay for the flight, hotel, photographer, vendor fee... everything. I am pretty crafty so I think if I decide to do my own decor I think I can do it very cheap! The photographer I am interested in would be $1400 + flight/hotel $1600 + wedding (hopefully I can find a simple free one, but if not the Grand Oasis Tulum has one for $650). I think that leaves me about $1000. My fiance and over half of my group are all coaches/teachers here in Texas and their only off month is June and even then they have summer workouts for their football players!!! I am really nervous about the heat though! :/ @snswedding2016 I would LOVE pictures if you have any to share! Of the ceremony and the reception!!! Thanks!

I was looking to get married in Jamaica and I had a pretty tight budget. I did manage to find the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa to be pretty affordable. It is about 30 minutes from Montego Bay in Lucea. On cheapcaribbean.com I found flight = hotel for 5 nights for $1887 (it has gone up slightly since). And another thing I found EXTREMELY helpful was the facebook group of ladies that have gotten married at the GP Jamaica! They answered so many more of my questions than the WC at the resort ever did! The facebook name of the group was Grand Palladium Jamaica Destination Wedding. If you choose to become part of the group the Admin will send you a message to make sure you are not a spammer and most likely it will go to your "other" folder in facebook messages (so you wont get a notification). Her name is Liana and I found her sooooo helpful! Good luck!!!!!!

Hey guys, I am a newbie that's for sure!!!! lol I originally was going to get married at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Lady Hamilton but some of my guests thought that the $1887 deal for 5 nights was too expensive so now I am looking at places in Mexico to get married. I would really love some advice on where to book! My group for the wedding is only 16 total (with my fiance and me) and we are have a pretty tight budget. I am not having bridesmaids and anyone standing beside us at the ceremony. I would love a beach wedding with a cute pergola with some Tiffany Blue decorations (we can bring decorations I am pretty DIY savy) so any suggestions on that to save money would be greatly appreciated. My guests are looking to stay around $1500-$1700 for 4 or 5 days. I would like to spend less than $4500 total (including photographer) which I think I've found! I'm liking PlayaWeddings ( http://playaweddings.com/WP/blog/ )( http://playaweddings.com/WP/playaweddings-photography-pricing-2014-15/ ) and her pricing for the quality is the best I've found. I honestly don't know if I will need more than 3 hours, but I am hoping that I don't. My friends are doing my hair and makeup and my dress is going to be as simple as I can get. I was just going to wear white lace pants but they told me "No" lol! Shouldn't take me long to get ready (I don't wear makeup on a daily basis) shouldn't be too fancy! She can do 3.5 hours of photography for $1,400. I am a little worried about vendor fees though. I really don't want to be in Cancun but maybe somewhere not far from there. I am wanting something a little less crowded. I would also like some input on the weather in Mexico. I am wanting to get married on June 15, 2016 around 4PM and I am nervous about it being too hot. I really don't need a fancy reception but I would like to cut a cake and maybe have cocktails... So maybe I can do some quick pictures maybe a short "trash the dress" before the sun goes down the same day as my wedding. I would love any and all feedback!!!!! Thanks in advance! Pictures of "my vision", these pictures make up what would be my perfect wedding! I am also all for something in the background! Ex: mountains, rocks, trees... anything pretty!!!! ;P My friends and sisters have all agreed to wear the same color, that way if I cant get as much blue decor as I hope for, I will still get blue because of their dresses! I am also not wanting to wear shoes and I think something like this would be beautiful! Let me know some suggestions or tell me where you got married and what your budget was! I am also wondering which Grand Oasis you got married at. I am thinking about getting married at the Grand Oasis Tulum, unless that is the one you are talking about! lol
