@@Maurindy2016 I can't say too much per attorney advice but I will disclose we had two people , my brother & my husband, get hurt due to the resorts negligence. My brother was sent to the ER via a cab he had to pay for and then was told the resort would fill his scrips for him when he returned once again in the cab he paid for and he was given expired scripts. My husband spent two days trying to see the medic and was sent a lifeguard that basically brushed it off until the infection got so bad the he couldn't walk. We waited outside the medic office for hours and had to force her to stop And see him and she also sent him to the ER again in cabs we had to pay for. They gave us all tons of fake apologies an offers to give whatever we needed to be more comfortable since my husband could barely walk around the rest of our honeymoon and the smallest requests were basically ignored. Good Luck @@Megan1980 Excellence has not yet shown their "customer service focus" as while our wedding was beyond perfect thanks to the efforts of Yanin and the rest of her team. We are still dealing with unresolved issues and expenses incurred due to the resorts negligence. I pray everything works out for your special day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's a few more amatur pics of things Yanin set up: Aisle Decor: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The reception set up^^^^ I paid for the floral centerpieces she added the rose petals and candles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The cake^^^^ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I ordered these from a company in Mexico and they shipped them to Yanin at the resort. They are hand made authentic maracas out of wood, hollowed out dried fruit and river rock and hand painted to your specifications. They were a HUGE hit the entire night with Everyone!!! I was shocked! The entire group danced the night away shaking them around like they gave them dancing confidence or something. Lol it was great!!! And they all loved their souvenir! http://www.maracasmexico.com/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank You @@nyarcher1215 I'm thinking you should be ok with the light but look online for typical sunset times for playa Mujeres in Dec and it should give you a better idea. And I completely understand! You don't really know what you're getting until you see the photos and they are super diligent about Only giving you ACTUAL Ceremony photos with the gold package and NOTHING else. It was so tough! For what I paid I could have brought a photographer with me but I've seen friends photos who did have the great shits we did! And of course they know they e got you when they are amazing and they charge you like crazy for them! Maybe just budget extra to buy the additional photos if you end up wanting more. I didn't plan for the $2,000+ I ended up spending but I can honestly say it was worth it after seeing them. You'll see when I post them all. Jesus did a fabulous job!

@@mexiwedding Thank You So Much and Congrats!! Don't worry she will sit with you when you arrive and put all the final details together including things you probably haven't even thought of. I was feeling the same anxiety and was very impressed when we arrived. She goes beyond what I anticipated and is right there the entire time to ensure all goes smoothly. The audio for the ceremony is really good. They have an audio system with an aux plug in so if you have the music on someone's phone they can give it to her and explain what you want played and when and they take care of all that. Just be aware of your ceremony is on the beach the walk to the alter may be longer than you anticipate. My music was a lil short but no one noticed but me. Lol

@@nyarcher1215 the round tables seat 8 per table. And not sure what time of year your wedding is but 5pm was perfect for our April wedding. We got some phenomenal sunset shots after the ceremony and it was absolutely perfect for the whole evening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Here's a few pics til I'm able to load some more: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk These are snapshots of the book we purchased because we had a lil mishap with the photographs. They gave us the wrong CDs and because we didn't bring a laptop to be able to check them we didn't realize til after we got home. Our pics are on their way via ups. FYI be prepared the pics came out GORGEOUS and they upsell cost can be HIGH!!!! We did the gold package and thought the ceremony pics would be plenty plus our family and friends photos but there's no way we could walk away from the 250+ GORGEOUS shots that were taken post ceremony. Sorry I haven't had much time to respond since I've been back from our May 25th wedding. I'll answer a couple questions and them fill everyone in on the details soon. The basic wedding ceremony set up you get seashells and starfish or lanterns. Yanin did both for mine and it was beautiful. High top cocktail tables were included and the new reception gazebo is huge and beautiful. I wasn't a fan of how far back it was from the water ( las Dunas is closer to the waters edge) but it's got bathrooms right there and it's right next to the ceremony locations and it's not really near a thing else at the resort so you have complete privacy. Yanin can take a week or so to answer but I found when I got there she was extremely organized and even rolled with some last minute changes I threw at her and made everything so so beautiful!!!!! I'll post pics soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh Not sure about the lights at the new spot as they weren't up yet. The DJ the hotel uses was awesome and our entire group......literally everyone danced the whole 4 hour reception!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And the food was the absolute best meals we all had ever had!!!! Our guests were kicking their plates and wanting more!!! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wedpics is the one we are using too. We're really hoping our friends and family will just bombard us with all their pics throughout their trip! The notarized letter is for my daughter. She's flying there and back with my parents and TSA requires she carry a notarized letter with her passport authorizing her to travel with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I'm going through my final To Do list before we leave on Friday and thought I'd share some info I just passed on to our guests. I'm not sure how it works with every carrier however: If you plan on using your cells while you're in Mexico make sure you call and advise them you're traveling and need to update your acct so you aren't charged additional fees. I just Took care of our AT & T accounts and was advised that by calling we now have No fees for: unlimited text unlimited calls unlimited wifi usage no roaming charges and 1GB of data per phone while we are away Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
