@@krystalball did you make any progress? I clearly spoke to soon as Transat is now coming at me saying they are removing $1000 dollars of our credit.. so sour over it. We used a big portion of our credit for family members and so there goes the tiny bit I was using for us. Seriously annoyed with them at this point!

@@krystalball we had people coming from everywhere but our lowest would have been from Toronto and that rate was $!032.00 (not including taxes) so I feel like you should've been somewhere along the same lines as us! I hope you end up getting sorted something definitely seems off!

Did they have another table for your postcards/card box that you put pictures on or anything? I think I'll use their floral then it doesn't make sense to have paid for something in a package and let it go to waste lol. Did anyone do maracas as favors? If so where did you get them?

I should be finding out tonight from my TA what we got be he did tell me that both he and the AT rep thought it would be 4060.00 and we got the maximum (4 free trips) so it definitely seems like you should be getting more!

Well I have not posted in ages, and I am not sure where the last few months have gone honestly, I literally can't believe how close we are! Final payments are due this week and we've done well so far, my TA tells me between 70-80 have paid I am just waiting for the final list from him! I had some things I am unsure of and wonder if you guys might have some suggestions. I have no idea what to do for a guest book, I am into the idea of a map but I don't want to spend a lot on a guest book, any suggestions what did you guys do/are doing? Also I am not sure whether or not to set up a card box or not? We aren't expecting much but I am not sure I trust anyone in my family under the influence not to lose cards if we did get some LOL. We are still waiting for our coordinator so I am hoping to find out soon who she is! I've been debating whether to use the floral at the resort or bring fake floral, I have heard the real floral dies fast, any suggestions? I have the presidential package so we have quite a bit of floral included. Also any of you previous Sirenis brides can you describe the cake table? Such a random question but is it worth buying a sequin table cover for it? I have a million more questions but its late so Ill stop there! Emjay I love how your girls look!!! That makes me excited we went with coral, are their bouquets from the resort? They match really well. We were planning to the buffet in the Palapa with about 80 guests, does that seem doable? Were from the East Coast so there will have to be lots of room for "dancing" lol. I don't know if any of you have seen how east coasters dance but they take up a lot of space. Haha!

Oh my gosh I cant believe your wedding is tomorrow, I have been silently creeping Lol. You've put so much time and effort into this and everything looks amazing!!! I hope your day is amazing and congratulations!!! I cant wait to hear about it

@@deecol have you shared any links or info with your guests or are you just kind of remaining hush about it? Has anyone else decided whether to provide information for their guests or let them make the decisions themselves/find their own info?

@vivitazy I asked about changing from the presidential to a different package and was flat out told no, what are you changing and are they allowing you too?!

@@yycbride2016 If you don't mind me asking how much do you think your looking at with upgrading from the free package? We had initially gone with the presidential but I am wondering if its more cost efficient to just do all the upgrades, Thanks

@Caddya Thanks for the info girl! I guess we will plan something here! I am not sure why I just assumed it was legal, looks like we will have to get planning! What is your wedding date? I cant wait to hear how the ceremony goes! So in terms of the Church it seems like our marriage will be valid in that sense correct?

@Caddya That would be awesome!! I did hear back from Adriana and she says the wedding coordinator will go over the readings, let us choose music etc for in the church, her exact response is this; . Do we get to do a rehearsal ceremony with the Priest? Do you have an outline of how the Catholic Ceremony goes? (i.e is their readings, communion, etc?) A.- Your Wedding coordinator will do a brief explanation of this once you are at the property, you are able to choose the religious songs you want, the readings and if you want someone t oread, as well. Do you know if the ceremony is considered legal? I asked her about bringing a marriage certificate and she said it wasn't needed, I also asked about blood work and she said we didn't need it that it was only necessary for legal ceremonies. This leads me to believe we also have to plan a legal wedding here now, any in sight into that? We also submitted all our paper work for the catholic ceremony but they keep requesting more it is stressing me out a bit lol. @emjay84 thank you for the pictures!!! that looks gorgeous, I was going to order a huge overlay for the cake table, good thing I haven't yet! Has anyone else ordered runners or overlays? What dimensions did you guys use?

@@Wafflesmom I love how you have included your pup!!! We have 3 and I so badly want to include them in some way, we didn't do engagement pictures just so we could include that money somewhere else but you've made me want to do that and include them! Such a sweet idea!

In terms of whether or not there is readings, communion or a rehearsal?

I just sent off an email to Adrianna with a list of questions, she hasn't gotten back to my last few emails so I am really hoping to hear something back before the end of the week, I am sure this is a very busy time for them! I kind of cant wait to be assigned a wedding coordinator in the hopes that communication improves just a bit. I have the presidential package so I will have to ask if those chairs are included! If they are I probably wont do chair sashes! I have debated buying some Chinese lighted lanterns to bring with me, did you think the price was okay? I have to dig out my paper work and check! Do any of you previous or upcoming brides know the measurements of the head table? I imagine its kind of a rectangle shape, trying to figure out what to do for table runners? Also was the cake table circular or square and any dimensions on that? I cant decide whether to do a runner or a table cover. It is so hard figuring out this décor stuff!!! I am open to any suggestions!! Were the chairs nice enough that chair covers or sashes weren't necessary? Can I also be a pain and ask to see the Palapa decorated from those who have already been there? Maybe that will make it easier for me to determine how much I actually need to do.

@@maria1488 sorry for the late reply was out of town for a bit and god life gets hectic this time of year it seems! Im curious as to how you felt about the chair factory table runner? I ordered two samples from the place you told me about on etsy and they were gorgeous, I agree with you they seemed like great quality and not at all tacky! I also just ordered the lanterns from Ikea and think I may do a Michaels run this weekend to get started on getting some Voltives and LED candles! That videographers work is amazing!!!! I know youll be super happy you did that and honestly having those memories on top of photos is so worth it. My little sister is getting married in Nova Scotia a couple months after us and I am obsessed with her videographer but with the large group my budget feels so stretched already, which honestly seems silly somedays I want to say screw the budget you only (hopefully lol) get married once! Do you love your bags from wedding chicks? I keep looking for a sale with them but can't ever seem to find one!

@@maria1488 Oh I just looked at that etsy vendor and am kind of obsessed with their sequin table runners now, how gorgeous are they?? Totally ordering a swatch, I had been kind of debating just doing a sequin table cover on the cake table and using white linens on the guests tables, its so hard to envision until you actually have things in front of you. What décor company are you using? I also have been looking at the ikea lanterns and knowing they are already bubble wrapped has me ready to order them, they are an easy decoration and I am hoping to incorporate a lot of candles (or fake candles lol) to keep things with kind of a softer feel. We have our photographer and venue settled, what videographer are you using? I have gone back and forth about getting one, we bought a go-pro to use for the week but when I watch what videographers have done for other brides I honestly am a bit jealous! What are you doing for favors with such a large group? That is where I am struggling currently, we initially were going to buy mugs, but traveling with them seems impossible, were for sure going to do sunglasses. I have gone back and forth about OOT bags because I feel like the cost will be insanity but then when your guests have spent so much to spend the week with you it seems really important to give back to them! We really weren't expecting such a large group so its kind of blown our initial budget out of the water lol
