My father in law is currently in Hospice care and we are getting married in June. We will have the same issue. I love the idea of something private for us to honor him with. My hubby-to-be is not wearing a suit but I'm sure we will come up with something charming like the ones @@murmel mentioned. Miami is telling me I cannot bring in a make up stylist, even if I was crazy enough to pay the $800 vendor. Has anyone found a way around this insane policy? I wanted to get my girls airbrush makeup as part of their gift. The spa prices are really high and I wanted it to be in the room so we can all be together , and that is an additional outrageous fee. Just curious if anyone else has similar wants and found "creative" ways to make it happen. Is it awful to try and pretend the stylist is part of my wedding group? Would this even work? Thanks ladies !

I was going to attempt to decorate my OOT bags to save some money. I am not all that crafty. Can any of you crafty brides tell me if these bags might be decent quality to iron a transfer on? Seems to be a good price I bought cheaper ones in bulk but the material was so thin the iron went right through it so now I am a bit gun shy. Thanks so much! I am struggling with flowers. The bouquets seem very expensive but maybe that's a normal price for flowers??? I have heard ppl mention real feel flowers but I have never seen them in real life. Are they good? Cheaper? Could I also use as centerpieces without it looking too "cheap"? Thanks all!

When should I send the invitations? I did a STD and have quite a few already w flight and room booked. But wasn't sure about the timing of "official" invitations. Trying to decide on photographers for my June 2016 wedding. I would like someone who has been to sensatori and knows what looks good, where to be, and preferably NOT a stick in the mud for personality. [emoji1]. does anyone have any they really loved. And if so can you please tell me (ball park) what you spent. I am lost with this one- do I need 6 hour pkg or only 3 hours? Or something in between? @aliyedwinrameriz i am so sorry that sucks! I was offered a "unlimited events" promotion that says after 21 rooms are booked I could have 1 cocktail party a day included. They would have to pick the location and it only includes beer and each guest receiving 1 "signature" drink and a few lit bites again that they pick. But it's included in the price That really a shame that for the Amy of ppl you are bringing there they can't give you at least 1 party! Maybe you should try to talk to someone else there? If you want it to be a private function though, I'm not sure they will nudge. Just from my little experience that seems to be the case

I'm getting excited! Picked out the BM dresses and colors yesterday. Letting the girls pick their own dress, just needs to be chiffon and then assigned them each a color. STDs went out this week so now I just need to motivate ppl to actually put the deposit down. I'm sure I will be chasing around for that. Struggling with my dad though. He doesn't have much money and doesn't like to travel. So I get why he wouldn't want to go. But it will still stink not to have him there to walk me down the aisle. On the other hand I would have to entertain him if he did go... So trying to just stop thinking about it and accept the "it is what it is" mentality. Happy planning.
