I got married in June 2016. My ceremony was planned for the beach and then Plaza Zara's. Unfortunately it rained as soon as the ceremony completed so we had to rush and change everything to move into the ballroom. But as part of my package I had a free cocktail party at the Palapa Yoga and it was nice. Depending on the size of your group and time of day I would even consider making it a first choice. There is shade and in June that was a huge consideration and a great breeze from the ocean. Also as a side note to other brides, take advantage of the cocktail parties they have in the pkgs. surprisingly some of the best food I had all week. You won't be disappointed. Here are 2 I can dig more if you want. Keep in mind I did not plan for the ball room. So the decorations I had for the tables were all still outside (and got ruined) when the rain came. So this is even more bare than it could be I don't know how it works for The Mexican restaurant Do you get the whole place? Inside or outside? There isn't AC there either (if I remember correctly) just overhead fans. So if that's a consideration it might not be worth the 1000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My wedding was in June and we planned an outdoor reception. It rained and we had to change venues last minute. We ended up in the ballroom. I will be quick to say it is not ideal. They do the best they can but it's a standard conference room. That being said, in my opinion it was worth it!! The AC was wonderful. Guests were dancing and laughing and being crazy and exactly what I wanted. I wonder looking back, if it was outdoors like I planned if it would've been too hot for all that dancing?? Guess I'll never know. The point is sometimes function wins over fashion. [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@@Sweetness14. I used Moments that Matter and really loved my pictures and video! I shopped around a good bit and I know there are a lot of great vendors in the area. For me, I was sold on the emotion I felt looking through their past wedding pictures (That's what I wanted for mine) and when I reached out how helpful and accommodating they were. I was kinda lost tbh about what time and what pictures and just about everything else in the planning process. But they helped me through all of that and pick a package that worked for me. At the time they offered specials to help offset Azul's crazy outside vendor fee. Not sure if they still do Every bride is different and wants slightly different things. I'd say take a few of these suggestions and google them and see how it works for you. Good luck! For decor- I thought the Lomas prices were insane!! Again this is a personal decision, but if you are ok with Real Touch flowers Katy has some nice ones. I ended up getting Lomas flowers because my mother insisted they were fresh (and she helped pay!). I had 7 small bouquets (6 bm + me) and 2 large bouquet for the gazebo. I used real touch for the boutineers-found some on Etsy. I must say the flowers were gorgeous, but if I was paying myself I think I would've rented them from Katy. I also rented mason jars from Katy and this + the BM bouquets were my centerpieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the following canvas totes left over from my wedding. Assorted colors. Will work great to use as the gift bag but probably not the gift itself. I have 35 and will sell them all for $10. (Obo) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@@DestinationDelgado. We did always and forever and were married in the beach. We used Katy for most of the decorations and saved a ton of money! I was shocked how many things were not covered in the "free" package to be honest. But very well could have been bad assumptions on my part. The gazebo at the beach is included. But I was shocked to find if you want bows on the ceremony chairs you must pay for those in addition to chairs on the reception chairs. I didn't want to spend a lot on decor either and was happy with the few things I brought down and the 3 suitcases of stuff from Katy. If you have not yet consider looking at her FB page Love & Lace Wedding Decor. It's so easy and great prices. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There was nothing formal. But about 30 min before our rehearsal dinner I had all the bridal party and parents meet and actually walk through how it was going to work. I needed this for my own sanity if nothing else ha. They knew who their partners were and we figured out what order they will go in. I made them actually do the walk so they saw the spacing and when and where to go. It seems like common sense but I was pretty nervous about it. The day of I told the girls to meet in my room at 11 AM. Photographer was coming at 1:30. Ceremony started at three. That whole time went by really really fast. Not much time for relaxing actually. The girls left to walk to the beach about 230 and me about 245-250 I was really freaked out about time bc I wasn't sure if there was enough music or when to start the bridal music. I'll be happy to share more details about that if you are interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We used Moments That Matter photography and could not be happier!!!!Lincoln and his team were very easy to work with! I was truly a newbie and had no idea what I was doing. I read through all the blogs but just felt overwhelmed. I reached out to MTM to talk to them to get a feel for who they were. I am so glad I did! Even just explaining what I envisioned, they gave suggestions on times (for best lighting) and estimate times on how long we would need for pictures and this and that. It really helped me put the timeline together for day!!! I did not expect it but was so grateful! The wedding day came and Lincoln was there snapping away! He was awesome! Fun and relaxing and such a good eye! The pictures exceeded my expectations! I can't stop looking at them. I love how I can "feel" the moment! I highly recommend Moments that Matter!! Please feel free to reach out if you have questions. Here are a few of the photos. [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7] Happy planning

I got my professional pictures back this week!! I cannot tell you how excited I am!! Let me give some quick background. I LOVE looking at pictures. I love having canvases hung in my house that you can look and can't help but smile because you FEEL what was going on in the picture. So when it came time to pick a photographer for the wedding I was all over the place. I was definitely not a fan of the photographers included on site, so after a lot of whining and bitching to my hubby about Azul S outside vendor prices, I finally decided it was worth the $800 to look elsewhere. After all these pictures will last forever, right?! I wanted them to be perfect! I looked through this forum and Google and FB and anywhere else I could think of and finally contacted Moments that Matter! OMG! And I could not be happier with the results!!!!! Lincoln and his assistant Mark were there and we had so much fun! They are truly so easy to work with!! He was quick to pick up on our group personality and somehow matched the pictures to that! Please do not hesitate to PM me if you want me to share a video with you to get a better idea! I can honestly say my memories will be forever safe with these pictures! Thank you Moments That Matter for capturing our day!!! Feel free to ask me any questions!! I know this process can be stressful! Amy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Keep in mind my reception was scheduled for Zavas plaza but it rained and a lot of my table decor got ruined, including the paper later a I got from Katy! (Yikes). They did a great job salvaging what they could but the tables were pretty plain I tired to get a few for you. Hopefully it helps. I'll be happy to give you the link to see all the pictures if it helps at all. Just PM me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess I personally would say no panty hose. I wore wedges. No one could really see my shoes anyway with my dress and I wanted to be comfortable. But I know ppl wear heels I got married in June and thought the sand was too hot for those feet less sandles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
