I was sooo...sore and struggled a bit in the first few days, but now I'm feeling awesome and so glad to be back at it. My eating has been really good since the weekend too! Trying out lots of new recipes which have been awesome for adding variety. Unfortunately I stepped on the scale today and it went up a bit and I was so disappointed that my hard work wasn't paying off. But I'm not going to let that get me down. I know that starting a new program I'm rebuilding lost muscle and retaining a lot of water to help with the recovery.     @@acw271011 thanks thanks and thanks! I'm so happy with how everything is coming together. With just over 5 months to go in starting to stress. I didn't think I would but I still feel like there's some critical things to figure out. I had to giggle a bit about the hashtag. So a hashtag is something you type in the comment or caption of a photo on Facebook or Instagram. So when our guests take a photo at the wedding they will write #HappilyEverBrade and when I search that I can see all the photos on one page! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I found my veil today! I feel like I practically stole it! It was only $35!! A woman who worked at a bridal shop that closed down was selling a few different ones from the store that closed.     @@calgarybride2015 thanks for the support! I think I needed to hear that. I find my will power is always weak when my FI is weak. I will get back on track today and stay away from the scale haha.     @@cruisebride2016 welcome to the group and congrats on those first 3 lbs! I think your head is in the right place now and you sound very motivated and driven to keep working at your goals. You've got time and support so you can crush this! Good luck with your holiday. It is never easy but with the right choices you can maintain! I have to confess my weekend was a train-wreak! I did workout both Saturday and Sunday. But my new program left me so sore that I didn't workout on Monday. I will probably have to do a double workout tonight. But the worst part was my eating. I was mostly good on sat and sun but yesterday was BAD! I made my fiancé a celebratory brunch of French toast and bacon for finishing our new fireplace build. That celebration seemed to last all day right to the chips we ate while watching the finale of bachelor in paradise. I'm really ashamed that I had done so good for almost 3 weeks and lost 5lbs, and now I won't step on the scale on fear I ruined my hard work this weekend [emoji20].     Aw congrats on everything, new job, new house, and of course your beautiful dress! You look stunning in it. It suits you perfectly! I agree that the belt is a must.     @@deecol You are crushing it girl! Even though you had a little slip up you are still doing good. That is all part of the process. We wouldn't be human if we didn't cheat every now and then. Chips are also my weakness. Its a hard habit to break I find. Right now because my FI is working on a renovation in our house he isn't focused on his healthy eating and working out which is making me struggle a bit too haha. I had to be strong for us both last night. He wanted chips so I wanted chips, I ended up having some coconut greek yogurt instead! Small feats! @@Wafflesmom You are already doing so good. I can't imagine going without power for 46 hours! Yikes! But I'm glad to hear that you are going to start meal prepping/planning to help you keep on track with healthy eating. I know that for my FI and I that has worked so good. Just make sure you give yourself some variety in what you eat. I know for us we got bored of our pre-made meals. @@calgarybride2015 I'm with you. Strong in the store, weak at home. I also just try not to buy it so that I don't eat it when I get home. Problem for me is that my FI struggles to gain weight (and that's his goal). So he gets a lot of high calorie foods that I can't eat. I really struggle with him having those things in the house or when he makes an awesome dish of pasta, I always want some. Well done on the working out! You are doing great! Sore muscles is a great sign! I hope you can make it through the weekend strong!! Keep it up!

    @@calgarybride2015 I've been to every single shoe store in cross iron and market mall. Haha I think the bottom pair of shoes in that picture was from new town for $110 and the top pair from Browns for $119. I did like a pair at le chateau but they were sold out already @@maddjax thanks! I've been to 2 different le chateau stores but I never thought to look online fore more selection.     I'm so excited! We have officially picked our wedding hashtag! Yay! #HappilyEverBrade we had a list a page long so it took forever to pick one.     @@acw271011 thats awesome. Mine is from Charm the diamond center. I didn't see one at peoples like that. The ones she was showing me there were all too chunky and stole the show from my engagement ring. Would have been nice to have them all from the same store but I also love my weddings bands.
