@@calgarybride2015 Thanks for the info. Hopefully I can find something at Davids tomorrow. I've picked such a tricky color. Does anyone know if off-resort guests can get day passes to the resort throughout the week, and if so how much they cost / what kind of access they get? Also did anyone have people in their wedding party stay off resort. The brochure for weddings say that Guess staying off resort can get a pass for 3 hours before ceremony until end of reception. But we would potentially have 2 people in our wedding party doing this and we'd want them earlier than 3 hours before the ceremony... Any ideas or suggestions? Any info is helpful. Thanks

I'm sure its the same (we are from the same city hence my name copies yours (yyc = calgary). hopefully I can get 3 more rooms booked (just need my weddng party to book then I'm good). Do you remember who you flew with? We are flying with Transat and I've never flown with them before. Also I believe in a previous post you mentioned your bridesmaids dresses were from David's Bridal? Do you mind me asking how much they were? I am going on Saturday to look but they all seem so expensive and I dont want to ask my bridesmaids to spend much considering the cost to get to Mexico.

@@GingerBride How big are the starfish. I want to line the wedding aisle with starfish but they would have to be fairly big. I plan on having starfish all over my wedding I am also going to buy the bulk starfish (smaller) to scatter on the tables for the reception. I can then re-use them for the AHR too!

@@Catface1027 Hi! I am also getting married at the Grand Serenis in February 2016! We have decided to do the Free (silver) package as long as we get enough guests attending. We are paying for the private beach and palapa as we want the wedding to be private. My sister got married in Cancun 3 years ago and it was distracting having people in the swim wear standing all around us watching. We worked out the price for everything we wanted based on all the packages they have to offer and doing the free package with upgrades is the best for price. I think if we for some reason don't have enough people for the free I'd pick the presidential package though because it has all the extras we want (plus more we dont care about).
