@@dzamech, I am also getting married at the Suites in August 2016 and would love to see some of the information the coordinators send you just prior to your wedding date. I am not on Facebook but my fiance is. We tried to look at the group but since it is closed we weren't able to view any of the info. Is this by chance something you might be able to email to me? We did a site visit during a Montego bay vacation and we're able to see the locations in advance but I also know that since there is only 1 wedding per day, you can choose in your meeting with the coordinator the day or 2 before your wedding. Given the amount of people you expect, a location I liked (but would be too small for our group) was the 2nd floor balcony behind the staircase that looks out over the resort and ocean. It's beautiful. Sorry I can't remember the name of it off-hand. We visited the disco which is available for private rental before I think 10:30 but we really liked the Music Bar that is also available prior to 10:30 when it then open to the rest of the resort. Hi ladies. What is everyone thinking of doing for their table centerpieces? I don't want anything too extravagant but do want something that will dress the tables up a bit. I also am thinking about some nice tableclothes. Also candles, perhaps some of those "fairies" lights and lanterns. I really want to have glass vases but do NOT want to have to haul them all the way down there and potentially risk them getting broken, too heavy etc. What have y'all come up with? So ladies...since we are all getting married in 2016 I am sure we have all been getting busy on the planning-front. Where is everyone at in the planning process? Have you found all of your vendors yet? Your dress? Ordered invitations yet? Lets rally and share some support and resources with each other. I have my venue confirmed at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites for August 6, 2016. Just decided on my photographer and travel agent and am preparing to launch our website and electronic save-the-dates next week. I am also planning to DIY save-the-date magnets and passport invitations (with a little help from my dear bridesmaids). I have not really looked for my dress yet though I have a general idea of what I would like, taking into account of course that Jamaica in August will be nothing short of ridiculously HOT! Curious to hear what some other brides are working on...

Congratulations qhe19. We chose the Iberostar Suites because it is a nice hotel but also offered a more affordable let option at the Beach or adults-only option at the Grand. It also seemed like the basics were covered in their paid packages and you were able to manage other activities (ie. Semi-private dinner, informal welcome reception and cocktail hour) for free with a little "creativity". Hope you find a location that you love. Keep is posted as to what you decide. Another Chicago bride checking in! We are getting married August 6, 2016 at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Just got our travel agent and photographer. About to send out save the dates and looking for stationary for our invitations (a DIY project). What I have not even started looking for yet...the dress. Guess I need to get on that now...
