Hello!! I used the clip ins for my hair because depending on the style the sewn in ones can really show. I had the real hair clip in extensions and loved them!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can see June selling a bit more since it's the off season so prices are a lot cheaper, so families can afford it a little more. Except most families go when their kids have march break and what not. This has been our 3rd trip to jamrock and my husband and I will probably come every year we love it so much! We chose may for our wedding since it is cheaper, (we had over 40 guests so needed a bit of a cheaper deal; which you will not get from December to end of March),than the prime time to go but still really nice weather [emoji4], can get a little hot but I love the heat! Just ask your wedding coordinator which florists won't be charged a vendors fee and start emailing! I wasn't able to confirm my flowers and florist till the week before my wedding! (Florist never got back to me for weeks even with constant emails and messages!) A fantastic DJ is Kevan Stewart as well! He pays his own vendor fees! Turns out he is a lot cheaper than the resort DJ and is very good at what he does [emoji4]. And like I said I used jans florist and didn't pay a vendors fee and the bouquets turned out beautifully for what I designed! Hope everything works out and good luck! @@cankem80 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Vendor fees can be killer; it's strange that Jan's gets charged a vendor fee for your resort? I wasn't charged a vendors fee at all when I used Jan's through the Riu. And June is Jamaica's summer, I don't get how it's the busy season when the busy season is from January to end of March LOL! [emoji5]️ (who told you June is the busy season?) especially since that's when the weather starts to heat up at home!! Just prepare for intense heat when you come in June! End of May into June is when the heat ramps up for their summer. Right now it's daily 30+ degrees it'll be way more humid in June with a way higher chance of rain. I'll cross my fingers that the rain stays away for your wedding!! [emoji4] @@cankem80 My husband and I were talking to one of the life guards and he was saying that in June through to August it can rain for days straight into weeks even!! The water levels this year are also really low, to the point that the firefighters can't put out fires unless absolutely needed!! They are in a drought at the moment and citizens actually have to use their water that they have in reserve! It rained for maybe a minute today which is nowhere near enough for their crops and such. Yes the weather has been fantastic and hot but I really hope they get the rain they need soon or they will have to fly water in! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't pre tan before we left at all!! People were like "izzy you're going to burn so bad", turns out I burnt the least over everyone who pre tanned [emoji38][emoji23] Made me laugh pretty hard! Before the first couple of days you could've used my legs for the flash reflector as well [emoji39] Too funny ladies! @ @@TinkerSofi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Riu Montego Bay & Iberostar Rose Hall Beach
IzzyDeee replied to Lau11888's topic in Destination Weddings in Jamaica
I got married at the Riu Montego Bay Jamaica last week Wednesday and it was fabulous! Once I get home I will be posting a review on my wedding thread [emoji4] I'm at the Iberostar grand rose hall (not the beach)atm for our honeymoon and I'd say the Rose hall beach isn't as nice. Now the grand is fantastic lol but pricey! I've seen the beach version though and I'm happy I chose the Riu myself!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
There were zero flies or bugs at my wedding and reception (which was on the roof of the steakhouse for a private event), in fact I saw more bugs in April when I was there over a year ago at the gran Bahia in runaway bay, Jamaica. The riu really wasn't busy at all which I had expected it to be! Right now isn't really Jamaicas busy time though which may be why (since it's getting hotter in Jamaica because may is the start of their summer and June is also hot but the rainy season). I've been in Jamaica almost 2 weeks and have one sand flea bite on my ankle; so like I said no bugs [emoji4]. I used Jan's Florist myself and they did a great job on my flowers! Tia florist never got back to me even when I sent emails every day!! I didn't use a videographer since we had over 40 guests and most took videos and photos. I actually had a very close family friend who is a professional wedding photographer who shot all my pictures for us; just said she was a family member so I didn't get charged a vendors fee [emoji5]️ @@cankem80 Like I've said before my wedding was magical and went off without a hitch! Only thing I wish is that the magical day lasted longer than 24 hours!! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you [emoji4] I really have zero complaints about anything! I was a little nervous before we left (worried I didn't have everything done!) but everything worked out better than I ever hoped for [emoji5]️ Nekeisha WC at the Riu is AMAZING!! I have no clue what other past brides where talking about when they said she was hard to work with. She went out of her way to make sure everything was better than what I asked for. The Riu Montego Bay is an ideal place to get married! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My maid of honour and I on the wedding day [emoji3] I'll have more pictures to post soon though!! The Riu was fantastic! The staff were all great and very accommodating [emoji4] everyone from our wedding loved it and even said they would return to that hotel! Was definitely a blast; now we have our honeymoon week where we actually have our very own butler! Will try to post more soon! Thank you ladies for all the posts before and on my wedding day!!! It's hard to fathom lol [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'll definitely post a pic [emoji5]️ @@calgarybride2015 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I barely slept last night LOL [emoji38] I'm getting my mani pedi today! Think I'm going with the gel nails almond shaped with ivory tips and gold [emoji5]️ (This shape) (Designed like this I'm thinking) Had my Brazilian wax done on Wednesday and I just gotta say I can't believe I was so chicken about it! Not bad at all!! Might do it for the rest of my life, way easier than shaving! [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
