Yea somehow I have always been able to walk on spikes [emoji15], it's my super power I think lol! Cause even when I put these purple heels on the girls at the shop were amazed by my balance and walking ability (I think it comes from horseback riding and always walking on my tippy toes as a child! [emoji13]) they even wanted me to try on taller heels but then I'd be taller than my FI! I'm already 5'7 LOL!! My heels only cost 50$!! Regularly 115$ so that was awesome! Yea our plaza gazebo is beautiful I'll post a picture! You could easily have over 100 guests sitting on chairs on solid ground!! (I've seen a few DW while I was in Jamaica and Mexico and all I saw were people walking through the wedding couples ceremonies since they were on the beach gazebos). It was then that I decided I wanted ours to be private overlooking the ocean where people couldn't go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just called my local Mac store which was inside the mall and booked an appointment! The ladies were super nice and understanding [emoji5]️, especially since I knew NOTHING! The most makeup I wear is mascara because my eyelashes are blond LOL! I'd definitely recommend Mac to others! Sephora is nice but they are usually booked haha! I tried 6 different lipsticks before I chose Diva! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The girls loved them when they tried them on too! Which is a huge bonus!! They will be awesome summer time shoes as well after the wedding! My one bridesmaid said she wanted the flats, then tried the wedges and loved them! My tallest bridesmaid is wearing the flats so it's not bad at all haha [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I booked it through an appointment! So you get the consultation done and then you have to spend 50$ on product for the consultation to be free or pay for the consultation which was around 75$ I believe, so for myself I bought most of the stuff they used on me since I never wear makeup and didn't own anything! [emoji15] embarrassing I know! I'm having my maid of honor do my make up so she came with me to the appointment to get some helpful pointers. [emoji5]️ You can also get your makeup done at sephora, where at you don't have to buy any product just a 50$ gift card at the end for the services of you decide you don't want to buy any of the products they used. [emoji4] My lipstick is called diva btw if anyone was wondering!! [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They are absolutely perfect! I was thinking of wearing them also if I didn't find other shoes [emoji4]. Since I'm getting married on the plaza gazebo it's super private and solid ground so I can wear my purple pumps [emoji1]! I really wanted purple shoes to have a splash of color and when we take pictures on the beach I'll be taking my shoes off anyways since there are certain styles of pictures I want! I actually wear my heels everyday [emoji13]!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bridesmaids shoes: When looking for bridesmaids shoes I wanted to give the girls two options! I went to Payless and the first shoes I grabbed were perfect [emoji108][emoji2]! Since my dress is ivory I wanted the girls to wear ivory shoes since that color would also go great with their dresses. These were the two options of shoes they could pick from: 3 out of the 4 girls chose the wedges and my fourth bridesmaid chose the flats! The girls were also super faltered that I was giving them a choice in the matter [emoji5]️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha well hopefully not, hopefully they are happy for you and get excited seeing your count down!! [emoji4] It is one of the most exciting times in a couples relationship; besides child rearing and becoming property owners! @@kcole123 I just got it since I almost needed to with how my excitement is!! All I can do is get excited as I look at it every time before I go to bed and see how many days and hours there are till our flight, and then the other timer for the wedding day(right down to the hour!) I'm not wishing my time away that's for sure! I almost wish there was a bit more so I could make sure everything is planned out to a T [emoji13] 2 weeks in paradise will be amazing though!! For sure I can let you know!! [emoji4] @@jenmasters We did the caprice package with the private dinner [emoji4]. We were actually forced to do the private reception since we have close to 50 guests as well! Our cake comes with our package but we may decide to go bigger since it's our desert after the dinner! I was thinking of just putting it on CDs just in case anyways, just to be extra safe LOL! Feel free to check out my planning thread also to see what we kinda have going on [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For my when I started planning my DW I booked the hotel and picked the dates through a travel advisor. I knew I wanted to get married in Jamaica, and my future sister in law got married there 2 years ago now; we used the same TA she did since she got such great deals and my Mother/Father in law have used her quite a bit also. So with that our hotel was booked as well as flights! We got a group rate since it was a wedding and after so many guests you could get a complimentary trip! So we ended up with 3 free trips!! We then asked our TA to look into places for our honeymoon with prices [emoji4]. Which we decided on the iberostar grand rose hall in Jamaica, it will be fantastic! I then got into contact with the wedding coordinator at my hotel to inform her of the date and location as well as time that I want to definitely book for the ceremony. So with that all taken care of I focused on my invitations since everyone needs lots of time to book since the group rate had a deadline! With that done (a year and a half before the actual wedding date!) I went wedding dress shopping and bridesmaid dress shopping. We also had a destination wedding party, party!! I really recommend it, since it helps everyone get to know each other, and allows some of your guests to get to know each other before the week of the wedding! I have kept in constant contact with my WC to keep up on costs and to make sure my plaza gazebo and private steakhouse dinner are booked. I also booked my hair appointment 3 months before the wedding date to make sure I had the time I wanted. I then found and received my wedding jewellery (full story on my thread!) and my shoes as well as my makeup. I then decided on the hairstyle I was going to do that went well with my dress and jewellery and the over all style of the wedding. I picked my bridesmaids color and dresses almost the same time I picked my own haha! I already knew my wedding color was going to be an eggplant purple since my dress is ivory with gold embroidery! Just trying to book my DJ for sure and final decorations [emoji5]️ Word to the wise stay in CONSTANT contact with your WC!! Try to talk once or twice a month for a year before the wedding! Good luck! @@amanda2016 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My wedding jewellery: I picked out my wedding jewellery on my 2nd fitting when some of my bridesmaids were there. Since my dress is ivory and gold I didn't want just silver; but it had to have ivory pearls, and I wanted it to look sort of like the embroidery on the dress. Surprisingly we found the perfect necklace and earring set and a hairpiece to match!! Unfortunately they were out of my price range at the time and the shop owner even admitted that it was the most expensive prices they had EVER had! I couldn't help but laugh since it is just like me to pick the most expensive thing and fall I love before I even know the price! [emoji16][emoji38] I asked the owner if she could write down the item and style number so I could save up for the two separate pieces; which they did. A few weeks later I went back to Wedding Works with my Aunt, who lives in Connecticut, to show her my dress and ask her opinion of the jewellery. The woman then informed me someone had purchased the necklace [emoji21] so I couldn't show it to my aunt!! It wasn't a huge deal since I knew I could order another one for myself, I had just wanted to show her. I left the shop feeling a little disheartened. Then Christmas came! My mom had me save one gift for last; It was the necklace and earring set!!! I couldn't believe it; I was bawling my eyes out! Still makes me tear up when I think about it! [emoji5]️ Then my bridal shower came! I never in a million years expected to open my one gift and receive the hairpiece I wanted! My maid of honors mother bought it for me so I can have a piece that reminds me of them on my wedding day; my second family! [emoji5]️ I cried then too and so did she when she hugged me. I am beyond blessed and extremely thankful for all the generous people I am surrounded with in my life!! [emoji5]️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm thinking of having an "advice book" for during the reception. People can write down jokes, hopes, advice, or stories. [emoji4] What do you think of this idea ladies? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello! My sister in law got married in Jamaica at the gran Bahia principe in runaway bay and had 88 people attend her wedding. It was absolutely fantastic and they were able to accommodate her every need within a reasonable cost as well! Just shop around with different travel agents and get quotes! Good luck!! @@Bloom16 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I am also getting married in Jamaica May 6th so if you have any other questions I can always try to help! @@Bloom16 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you so much for the kind words!! [emoji4] I will be posting lots more don't you worry [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The shoes are incredibly comfortable ! I was originally looking for a wedge but we aren't getting married on the beach; instead we are getting married at the plaza gazebo which is all cobbled ground! My fiancé picked his outfit before I even had a chance to look [emoji4] especially since there was no way he was wearing a suit! He heard from some Jamaican women at work about linen suits and we checked them out and that was it! Still can't believe I was able to get my dress off the rack! Thank you for all your lovely feedback! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'll have to let my fiancé know you approve! [emoji4] Can't wait to post more!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
