Hello fellow brides, I am looking for any information from brides who have had or are having their wedding at the Dreams Riviera Cancun for more than 30 guests. I am looking at the different packages, but am having a hard time finding pricing for more than 30 guests. We would like to have a semi-private or private reception with a dance and DJ after, but have no idea what this will cost. I would really appreciate to hear from other brides in a similar situation. My friend was married at the Riu and gave me all her info as I am considering the Riu as well. They also did the caprice package and paid an extra $2000 for the private dinner so they could do speeches as well as have a dance with a DJ. The DJ was $500 for 4 hours, but she said both costs were well worth it. Her wedding was 2 years ago, but I hope this at least gives you an idea.

Hi!! We just got engaged a week ago and are already starting to plan for a destination wedding the end of Madch 2016:) we are deciding between Punta Cana and Riviera Maya. I am looking at Dreams Resorts and Riu Palaces in both locations. I am having the hardest time estimating a budget because we will likely have 40-50 people and all of the packages include 20-30. We are trying to determine how much extra we will pay to have a private reception and dance with that number. We are open too eating in one of the ala carte restaurants, but it's hard to find info on pricing for larger groups. I'd love any help or advice!
