May 20th 2016 HRPC- Where are all the rest of my Dominican Republic brides?

I purchased the $.89 canvas bags from Cheaptotes.com February 23rd. The website states that it would be 7-14 days ($9.99 shipping). Time past and l looked up this past Monday the7th and realized that I didn't even get an email stating my order shipped. I emailed them and received the response that their shipping system went down, however they could see that it shipped the 24th... Mmmmkay so where's my stuff? I emailed them back and called the next day with no response. Finally got ahold of them yesterday and the lady said that their warehouse flooded and she would ship them out 3 day mail. Miraculously 3 hrs later their system was back up and I had the package at my door :-/ I didn't like the response time and felt as if I was getting the run around. I haven't started with the iron on transfers however so far I am satisfied with the overal quality.

Zazzle doesn't seem to have any good sales and/or whenever they do, the shipping is so high it makes me give second thoughts to buying anything

Any ladies taking/have taken your children with you to your DW? Did you have them stay with a family member the whole time? Did you get (or do you plan to) enough QT with your husband?

I struggle with this and know that it's just in my head but logistically it's easier to just get married before we leave. I have just always pictured "ONE" wedding day and having two seems to out a damper on it. We won't make a big deal about it or two anyone ahead of time, just a private moment between us two

It's good to see such positive experiences, I was planning on buying a second dress for the reception and have heard such bad experiences regarding sizing but this puts my mind at ease just a little

I really wish I would've just booked them when I had the chance, they are now Hard Rock Punta Cana's official vendor and of course their prices are higher as a result :-(

I am going through something similar now with someone who I believed to be super close. Waited two months before final payment to question my motives for picking such an expensive resort and even said that she felt as if I was asking the guests to pay for our wedding! The audacity! Now I see that she was just looking for a way to back out and I'm fine with that... All that matters is that my future husband and I are happy

Can any diy brides share some tips on making your own bouquets and boutinnaires? Making mine is definitely a cost saver, however the task seems daunting

I am on a desperate search for a badge (keycard) holder template for our oot bags. I've seen a few from several years ago however I don't have enough posts to pull up the template... Is there anyone out there that would be willing to share theirs with me?!?!?

Backstory: I am an only child, raised Ailey by my mom with help from our small family. Graduated college didn't move back "home" and then a few years later, moved to Atlanta. Now: My mom and I don't have a super close relationship, In fact my aunt and I are closer than my mom and I are. When I told her about wanting to have a destination wedding, her response is why? It's too expensive, your family won't be able to come! Talk about buzz kill..... So I didn't talk to her about it for about a month and still researched and got excited about it. Yesterday I called and asked her if she's warmed up to the idea yet and she said no, still giving me the same excuses as before. I have no idea who these imaginary ppl are that she wants me to invite nor do I care or want them to come! I just want something small and intimate surrounded by the people who have made me who I am today!!!! It kills me that my mom Wont be involved in the planning process and even more that she may not be there or is there with an attitude! I'm grown, but I still need my mom ???? it makes me not excited about everything now.
