Hello Brides!! I just started trying to find a (FREE) site where I create a custom wedding website. I began attempting to use mywedding.com because of the cool app that can be connected with your guests and site butttttt i dont like how i cant place pictures of the resort and adjust them where i would like. I dont like the knot.com layouts either... Ive tried that one too Does anyone one know how i can do this on weddings.com OR a better site to use?

So funny Ive actually been soooo excited about the spider monkeys ( favorite animal) so hearing how much fun they have been with guest excites me even more haha!!! I continue to see brides use the term GI TA.. what exactly does GI stand for?? the shuttle info is great to know. Not bad for 4 people a 20 buck ride!! Alot cheaper compared to some other prices ive heard from some cab companies. I honestly dont have much info on the Crawl. I haven't looked into it to much. but this is the site my friend said she got the cancun one with the same company. Its 75 dollars a person for 3 clubs. VIP access. and bottle service. http://partyhoppercancun.com/playa-crawl/ They got great reviews on tripadvisor. I have also seen that there are 2 or 3 other "crawl" type companies.. I will defiantly look into it after we get into complete planning mode. I read somewhere that they didnt allow the pushing of the beds together if you request it but some people just did it themselves. So that possibly could be an option if needed. But my TA did state the new essence area has the king beds in some just very limited. The new essence area seems to be much smaller than the older villas. Even the roof top rooms. debating on where i should request. I would love to hold a welcome party or cocktail party on our roof top. So the # of people that attend will help with my decision. Anyone heard or seen pics/video of private roof top cocktail parties in the rooms? @@snswedding2016 wow the first 2 pics are from the Oriola grill?? So Pretty!!! I love it!! I am really thinking about this location for the reception I love the way the photos look at night with the hanging lanterns. I would love to hear your thoughts about the hotel when you get back!!! Anyone aware of the "back up rain" location ? and what that may look like ?

Yay how great Aug. Brides! ! I would love to hear how u our wedding goes. At first I was so worried about booking for August because of the heat but really there wasn't any other time that could work best for everyone and plus more reason to be in the pool and having ice cold drinks . I would love to do the sky wedding. ( worried about the heat so high up) but I've seen how windy it had been up there so it possibly may not be as bad esp with a later ceremony time. Are you doing a sky wedding ? Picked a time ? I would love to do our reception there as well but the extra cost on top of the 1700 already is tough. My second choice is the garden . Just because of thr pics. But I haven't officially been connected with a wc to recieve further options. What locations are you planning ? I saw a video on the fb azul fives board that really helped ease my thoughts on boredom. The group looked like they had a ball on their own. Nice a yacht trip would be awesome. any Company in particular you looking into ? I was looking at the catamaran. For snorkeling but that may get costly we will have to see how the budget works out.

@@TinkerSofi Fingers Crossed for Aug 2016! Im hoping we can get the 20th . its the day that works best for everyone. Man The work we went through just to pick a place woosh!! Ive heard this is the hardest part of it all so hopefully from here on things will be more fun and less stressful until the guest get involved haha. YAY!!! its getting so close!!! I had a friend mention a Playa Crawl. I guess its a group that sets up different clubs to visit etc. She said she did the Cancun one and heard great things about that one So we'll have to see what I find. but my first worry now is getting the date and then allowing everything else to unfold.

@@TinkerSofi thank you for your feedback. We defiantly arent looking for a wild crazy paty scene its the reason why we have steered completely aware form cancun. I agree with you completely. You must create your own fun if needed! and we don't have a problem with that at all. haha!! With the resort being in such a good distance from Playa for those that may want to get wild they can head out and do so. We just sent over our approval to our TA to go ahead and see if we can get the date we want for next year!! So fingers crossed!!!

I say keep the champagne ones just as a back up for any other wedding outfits ( showers, dinners ) or just to add to the collection! cant even have enough shoes haha!! The drama with your FI's friend is overboard. Im really hoping I don't begin to get that drama ( even tho I am certain I will) haven't even sent out the official STD and already getting tons of questions and changes. grrr... It may be time for you to stop accomidating and say HEY sorry she cant come now! If she actually decides to come now the person you roomed with him will now be alone and the chaos will begin again. Hello Azul FIve Brides!!! My fiancé and I have been working with our TA and had finally decided we wanted to go with NOW Jude due to the price and I loved their ceremony locations but we then were super disappointed about the family suites... they aren't FMAILY SUITES~! ughh So my TA recommended we look into Azul fives for better suites for our guest. With that stated .. I went on the hunt reading reviews etc. Everything has seemed to be perfect but I continue to see the same reviews on people being bored. Some stated even the pools were boring and it was even worse at night. For the past Azul Five brides or guest... was there no entertainment or nightlife at the resort?? Did they not have any bars open late to hang out by . Or shows etc? My worry is some people that wouldn't want to leave the property would become super bored. Thank you for the feedback!!!

Hey ladies!!! I wanted to know if anyone has any info on the family suites? . I have a guest that will need an extra bed room for her teenage daughter and we looked online can't find anything to view a family suite. Are they just 2 suits joined by a door ? Or are there suites with a larger living room and a pull out sofa bed or with an extra bed room? I asked my TA and all she did was send me the description we saw online which didn't clarify. Thank you for the help!!

So the sports bar basically is the night club ... with a DJ and all ?? woosh.. I was a bit worried it was going to just be dead from 10 PM on. I myself would get a bit bored. I don't even go to bed at 10 PM on a normal weeknight to do it on vacation. @@Meg32IL

Hello Past Now Jade Brides. I was asked by one of my guest if there was any kind of Nightclub or night life at the resort. According to my TA the only thing open past 11 is a sports bar but its not a night club. Was there no nightlife at all at the resort? Does sports bar convert into a small nightclub of any sort? My worry is my guest becoming bored since the resort is so separated from cancun and playa . I have guest between the ages of 20-29. and also after the reception.. people will want to get into something else. Will they not have anything to do unless they leave the property at night?

extra cost do take a toll on budget. Just make sure to do your research as much as possible. Ive heard from a few other brides sometimes its easier on the budget to build it up yourself versus getting the packages they offer. GOOD LUCK!!! Happy Planning!!

The additional 30 you would have to pay the cost per person. Depending on whatever the resort states on their contract. So example.. You decide you want wedding package for 3000 that covers 25 people and you have 60 guest. The resort states on the contract additional people will be $60. So you would pay 3000 + (35 additional guest x 60 pp) = $5,1000.

Congratulations and welcome to BDW!! @Ruzanna when you state all inclusive package... are you speaking about the resort itself ? or the wedding package? Yes the resorts are all inclusive ( if that's the resort type you select) so all food and drinks are included BUT the wedding isn't included in this. Its an additional event. The wedding is an additional cost on top of the all inclusive $ you pay for your nightly rate. It all depends on what resort you select and what their wedding packages include. For example.. The wedding packages at the Royalton aren't very inclusive . Each plate is charged per person.. they can range from $40-80 all depending on what your meal selection is. They also charge for the chair set up etc per person. at AM resorts they are much more inclusive with the packages. One of their packages covers up to 25 people and every additional person then is charged per additional plate depending on your meal selection. Just have to do research on what wedding packages are best for what your looking for! I hope that makes sense! Good Luck!!

thank you so much for your feedback. It seems to be the similar comment we have gotten from various people between the two. They state it feels more like Mexico. My big deciding point is the ceremony and reception locations. @vancouverpentunia

@@tracyannhoward this is actually a great question. I would want to know this too... would a meal be bought for everyone : photographer, videographer, dj ? My presumption was yes as a regular wedding here in the states. Everyone has always bought them a plate.. but not sure how this works for DW.

@@pddcmc Oh no. I honestly know it's easier said than done but relax it will all work itself out. Just like @@acw271011 stated they are pros and have gone through these things a million times.
