I'm a bit confused and maybe someone can clarify for me. The 500 Decor Fee for the Gazebo and the 500 decor fee i guess in general covers all the decor that is seen in pictures?? Or were these additional things everyone purchased or brought themselves??

Would it be possible for someone to send the wedding package prices. We are looking into aug. 2016 but have yet to recieve anything from them ? Thank you so much!! [email protected]

@@LisaAnthonyPoppy Im honestly not even that far into planning or even close to our wedding date but I can already see how stress builds into everything. We have gotten so stressed just picking a resort that we have blown up on each other and I have even questioned should we get married now? Because how wild things have gotten and we arent even into the actual swing of things. Sometimes we allow the small things to cover over the bigger things I guess. Maybe you need to have a nice talk.. I know that's so much easier said than done. But communication is key. He needs to know how you feel as you also need to hear how he feels. Maybe hes going out and watching the game to get away. Maybe he overwhelmed as well and has doubts. But you'll never know unless you speak about it. AS you stated you saw how green your grass truly is. No need to go into the next garden . Your garden has stayed green through these years, you have loved and honored each other and it has brought you to this moment!! To where you want to join together forever. I hope just talking it out even with everyone here on the forum will help ease your stress and worries.!!! Hugs****

@@TinkerSofi my TA said they told him changes happened 2 weeks ago. AHHH why didnt i sign 2 weeks agoooooooooooo!!!! @veryvalentine planning my wedding for Aug. 20th next year. In a way im relieved this is all happening wayyyyyy in advance, so i still have enough time to hunt. the resort looks beautiful! Esp the showers in the king suites!! Amazing!! and i like how you explained how its all separated but still together. ! But i wont give up on Azul Fives until my Ta tells me theirs nothing we can do. I mean how could they want to lose so many guest and so much money being brought in. Time will tell i suppose. @ashhtayy I am from the states. And Im not sure if its just something they are starting to state to people now who are trying to sign contracts for the coming year.Please let me know what your TA says. My TA has worked with karisma for many years and has done so many weddings with them. he stated to me he always been aware that Azul fives has been separated from the general other karisma resorts but this is beyond. Not to even offer the perks. If i had to deal with the 975 wedding cost fine and then just pick a different location. But to remove everything... its mainly one of the reasons we picked it. The offers from what you get. My TA is speaking to me about Now Jade ( ive actually liked this place but it seems very cookie cutter) hes spoken to me about Marina El Cid ( ehhhh ) Ill just have to see what happens within the next couple days

@@TinkerSofi I actually just began to look at that resort is The Grand Sunset Princess where you're getting married @@veryvalentine the same at the Grand Riviera Princess? . IJust having mixed feelings but i was so emotionally invest.. i already saw our wedding there on the sky deck. Now its like nothing compares ughh! I would believe you having the contract with them prior to the changes you will be ok. I would just make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing to go back and forth with what is stated on your contract. and with all its new updates they will have to live up to the standards. Im hoping my TA can really work some magic because even the thought of starting this all over again is making me want to pull my hair out. Looking for a resort to fit all our needs for the wedding and all the needs for our guest seemed impossible . AHHH

@@ashhtayy well unfortunately it looks like I have much bigger stress now that what exact room and location to block. It looks like I possibly may not even get to have the wedding here. My TA called me yesterday after our back and forth with the resort to block the rooms and get our date set and they just told him that they have separated themselves from the karisma contracts. So Nothing that karisma offers is offered by the resort for contracts moving forward. With that said.. I wouldn't get the "free" wedding that's going to now go up to about 975.00 they also are charging 1800 for the sky deck. So basically close to 3k now for a 1/2 hour ceremony. They also will not offer the GI perks . So no unlimited events .. no free cocktail party. Nothing!! im so upset its taken me over 3 months doing pros and cons to all resorts and then we settled and i became emotionally invested with Azul Fives. Now it seems impossible. Unless my TA and his rep can work some magic and see if they will accept our group under the older contract they will lose our entire party. So im now just a sitting duck praying to hear some good news if not ... im back to square 1 on looking for a resort. If anyone has any suggestions on another resort around the area i would appreciate the feed back.

@@deecol I actually ended up using weddingwire as well and I really liked it. It was easy to set up and i liked the features of adding text and photos !!!Im glad to know your guest have actually been using it. My FI thinks Im putting to much effort into the site and people will still be calling and texting us asking a million questions than reading the site lol. We'll see. Im hope they don't. my phone is insane already with work calls and emails. To add on guest to constant ringing would drive me nuts. lol

Ladies!! So im currently working with my TA on blocking out rooms and hes asking if we would like to block out rooms in the older villas or the new essence villas. Im thinking of possibly doing a mix just to work in different budget rates. What do you guys think? My future MIL is stating it would be easier to just have everyone close together. But does that really matter?? Im just not sure how to go about blocking. If it even worth to block out esccense rooms for the extra cost? How did you guys do your blocking?

I must admit something right now.. cause i honestly don't want to go running to my FI about it because it will really cause more stress on us both. But Ive honestly stalked Tripadvsior on reviews almost every day if i can remember to do so ( im always worried ) and the last 3 days things have been so bad. I know some people are really picky or over dramatic. and I know I have more than a year to go to actually have the wedding there. but the reviews on the bad service, the bad food , and people getting really sick. AHHHHH what is going on!!?? Reviews have even stated how they are charging people extra cost for ordering steak or asking for a top shelf gin at the gin bar. Wasn't this place all inclusive? Anyone know is there is a list of additional charges on food and drinks? I would hate to advertise the resort as all inclusive to my guest and when we actually attend its not! I'm hoping they can start changing this over. I'm even afraid to mention to guest yet what resort we selected because i don't want them jumping onto the site and reading these things. I'm praying stuff starts to change a bit before i send out my STDs.

I second @ with maya floral. Not sure about whole sale prices. ...Did you get your real touch flowers from etsy yet? Im dieing to know how they look in person. I went to Joanne's yesterday just to browse the silk ones they had there and i really didnt like them. im so picky . I just dont like fake flowers but if i can get them to look so close to real and have tons of money in my pocket it will make me really happy. I esp. want to make my own keepsake bouqet since i will not be able to bring back flowers from mexico. So the closer to real i can get the happier Ill be

I do agree its a cool spot for pictures but takes away from the ceremony i think personally. How far apart from your ceremony in Mexico will your backyard ceremony be? and your ceremony @@snswedding2016 ? Ive heard mixed things on here about how long you must be married and have a marriage certificate to hold a symbolic ceremony in Mexico. Cant honestly state Ive looked into it too much yet since i have a long way out to do it. Are you planning to exchange rings for that ceremony? I was thinking of not exchangeing the actual rings we would exchange in mexico on that day. and maybe just do basic cheap bands for the "symbolism" but my MIL stated that may be bad luck .... not sure how.. but i dont like the term bad luck at all haha!!

So funny you say this about the new beach location! My FI and I wanted the beach ceremony sooo badly. Just to have our toes in the sand very laid back feeling. But the privacy is such an issue. : ( So when we heard of a new location we were all about it.. until we actually saw the structure! .. We are BIG Video Game Geeks lol and our first thought was OMG this looks like the huge spider boss from Bloodborne haha!!! Why on earth would they make it look like this? So this really bummed us out. I really like the sky deck and sky terrace .. but then after seeing your oriola grill photos it made me start second thinking everything ahh!!! Decisions decisions My fiance and I will be in Mexico at the end of sept for my friends wedding at Dreams and we plan to go over to Azul Fives to see everything in person for ourselves!! We may end up seeing each other!! So excited for you to be able to experience everything first hand! Ive heard great things about the BDR. I also love love loveeeee the cottage you are picking for your ceremony prior to your wedding in Mexico!! its beautiful. Makes me want to pack up and head to Canada to have ours haha!! I honestly still dont know how to go about that next year. I dont want it to be a big deal. But it will be the first time we are pronounced married so in a way it is a big deal. so torn. lol sending you tons of loving positive vides they say yes to your ceremony there!!!

Your hair looks amazing!!! I wish i had the hair to make it even look like that!!! Im debating hairdos due to wind and heat. Getting married in Aug. so Humidity and frizz is a huge factor for me. She did an amazing job on your hair!!!!

From the picture it looks like the bed was made as 1. I dont see why they would take them apart every time they went to clean. if they did .. I wouldn't think they would do it more than the first time. They may get the point that you want them that way on the second time seeing them together . @@acw271011

So true!!!!! @@snswedding2016. My own concern about that is some of the photos ive seen have a night stand in the middle. I would hate for guest to either get hurt or break something (haha) and come out having to pay as much as if they would of just gotten the king suite LOL!! But yeah i dont see why not just pushing them together!!

yes it does!! My next question to this now.. that i will have to ask my TA on .. is will they dare charge more because its a "super king" bed. Since they have the king bed suites to offer. If not this is a better option for those who want king beds but want to spend less money.

Ladies!! I was going through tripadvisor looking at bedroom photos and i actually came across a photo someone took of the deluxe room with pushed together beds!! I needed to share this with you all since we have been back and forth speaking about if it was possible or not! Well it is!! So this is a great info to have for our guest!! The photo is from Jan. 2015 . So its very recent! I hope this helps you!@@acw271011

With all thr TA contact and resort info. I just wanted to make it more inviting but it is what it it is. Plus I really like the my wedding app features. So it's the best free one right now. LOL !!! Im just as nuts to get married in august tooo!! LOL @@TinkerSofi. I actually am considering the Oriolla Grill myself. But I really love the Garden with the string lights at night. @@catrionaanne have you thought about that ??? I honestly don't know many of the locations to pick from. I haven't gotten the official paper work yet from my TA or WC . Just been planning off of other wedding photos haha. It stinks that they aren't allowing you to have what you first asked for. but their are other great areas! @@TinkerSofi Thank you for clarifying about the GI TA.I was so out of the loop. I believe my TA is one of the Karisma TAs. Hes done many weddings with them and seems to know who to contact for certain things. So far so good. fingers crossed. I hope we can get some offers like the makeup and hair etc. That would be great!! That alone is expensive . anything that can save some money is worth it . My TA stated he can get us upgraded to a roof top suite .I'm thinking we can have a welcome cocktail party up ( gathering)at the suite versus having to pay for one to be organized. save more money lol
