Does anyone know if I get out of paying the outside vendor fee ($800) if my photographer stays at the hotel with our wedding group? We have a friend who is a photographer, so he may just come with us and take the pictures. However, I don't want to pay for his travel and the $800 fee. Thanks so much for answering all of my questions - I have so many!! -
Does anyone know if you can use your complimentary rooms at another Palace Resort? My fiance and I want to go to either Sun Palace or Le Blanc after the wedding to be alone, and I'm hoping we can use some of our complimentary rooms then! Thanks!

Did anyone having a larger wedding have issues with the resort getting full? I think we will have over 100 guests, but I don't want to reserve that many rooms just in case people decide not to come due to cost when it comes down to it (and because it is expensive to reserve that many rooms at once). I was thinking of starting with 30 rooms and then reserving more as people book. However, I don't want the resort to be full - I know it isn't a huge resort! If it is full, can guests stay at Moon Palace? I think I read only 20% of guests can stay at a different resort.

Has anyone brought their own officiant? I'm doing a symbolic wedding and have a good friend who is a certified officiant, but I wasn't sure what Beach Palace thought of that!

@@LMichelleB - did the plated menu cost more than the buffet? Do you mind me asking how much? I officially set my date for February 20, 2016. I'm so excited! This blog was SO helpful in making my decision. Thank you for all of your input ladies!

When you booked the sky terrace for your wedding, did you have to pay the $950 for the always and forever ceremony plus the $1700 for the sky terrace? I reserved my wedding spot today and it looked like I had to pay for both in order to reserve the terrace. Also, has anyone had a wedding on the beach? I'm just not sure I want to pay for both!

Thanks for the info! Is the beach at Azul Fives pretty for a beach ceremony? If you don't mind posting that banquet kit when you have a chance, that would be great! I'm glad to hear that Azul Fives was a more reasonable price than Beach Palace. We are looking for something a little less expensive for our guests!

Hi! I'm planning a wedding for 2016, but haven't chosen a resort yet. I was thinking Beach Palace in Cancun, but now I've heard great things about Azul Fives! Does anyone know if the beach is nice/water pretty for a beach wedding? Also, I read on this blog that someone thought reception dinner pricing was increasing to $89, did anyone have that experience? I'm expecting 100-120 guests. Are there any perks such as free cocktail receptions, etc? Any info is appreciated!!

@@FutureMrsGarcia - thanks so much for the info! I was worried that the resort would be too book for 50+ rooms or there wouldn't be places to hold events. I'm so happy to know that it will work! I will most likely go with Beach Palace! @ - Thank you so much for the info! I've been to Moon Palace and it is just too large for me. I'm afraid my guests would get lost and/or I would never see them. I think we will stick with Beach Palace! Thanks so much for the info! I'm excited!

Hi everyone! I'm still debating between Beach Palace and Moon Palace for my wedding. Moon Palace seems way too big for me, but I'm afraid Beach Palace isn't large enough! Has anyone had a wedding at Beach Palace with 100-120 guests?
