@@vancouverpetunia I know! How frustrating! We can use this offer of 50/50 at any time, so I'm going to see how I do without it for now... I went to the gym last night, and then spin again this morning - trying to get it in as much as I can until my membership cuts out.

@@vancouverpetunia Thanks!!! I'm wondering if I'm at a decent pace with everything so you made me feel better My best friend is getting married the same month as me so I'm in the mentality where I want to get as much out of the way as possible before the extreme chaos begins in Jan/Feb. Still soooo much to do but if I can tick anything off my list I'm happy. -
@@SunshineDreamKay I know - everyone in the office is pretty upset. Just keep it until April at least! We are getting married at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba in Riviera Maya. @@Wafflesmom I'm okay Thank you so much! Can't believe they are taking away our memberships - such a bummer. I'll def have to use the Hiitmax workouts more now, and will still do cardio but these classes made it so much more fun and I was seeing some progress Sorry to hear about your bronchitis! But happy that it's not something worse! Well done on your workouts - but you should definitely rest this week and get better! Just keep your diet clean and you'll be fine Can't wait to see your table number frames and Der's suit!

Can't wait to meet you all! I have excited butterflies!

My company just decided to cancel our free gym memberships and are offering to pay half. I can't justify paying for a membership if I have a gym in my building... so long spin classes

@@calgarybride2015 I heard back from the Wedding Planner at GBP and she confirmed that the Tulum beach location hasn't been painted, it's the same dark brown as in the picture. It was the Akumal beach location that has been painted. -
@vancouverpetunia @calgarybride2015 @maybeoneday Thank you so much Happy to say that although I haven't worked out since Spin on Monday morning, I have been consistent with my diet and haven't gained any weight. I guess it helps that when I'm stressed I don't have much of an appetite. I'm doing weights tonight, spin tomorrow morning and have a weekend with not too many plans ahead of me that I can squeeze some great workouts in. Maybe it's the break my body & mind needed.... @@SunshineDreamKay Welcome!!! As you can see the ladies are so supportive Your goals sound great - let me know about your results after the 30 day shred. We're getting married 4 days apart!

I didn't go to spin this morning I went for a nap around 7pm yesterday, woke up for an hour when Col got home and slept until 7am this morning. I have some family stuff going on and it's stressing me out a bit more than I thought it did... It's making me physically sick... I'm going to try to turn that energy into fuel to workout.

@@Wafflesmom Thanks! I always pictured long flowy dresses for my bridesmaids! It would definitely be a great dress to wear in the evening. @@acw271011 bought it in Navy. Thanks for the greenery idea for my bouquet - I'm going to start looking for some to add in. And some more small roses I'd love to add a small rose to the lily boutonniere if I can find the right flowers. I love the hairstyle too!!! It puts my mind at ease and I bought one of those Hot Buns for it, not the donut shaped one, but the long one that snaps once all your hair is rolled in it. -
haha oh no! You get double hit! They're opening the Sherway location on Oct 16th!

@ Thank you! I know it's really simple but I like simple, and I think it really compliments my dress. I want a gigantic bun! I showed my hairdresser girlfriend and she loves it, she's going to give me a bit of volume at the top too so it won't be super sleek... basically exactly like Hilary Duff's lol -

My Recent Michael's Finds and Some More Planning Bridesmaid Dresses: Thanks to @nkavanaugh I purchased my Bridesmaid's dresses from Lulu's. They are the Royal Engagement Dresses in Coral Pink, after taxes, shipping and the US exchange rate I got each dress for $110 CDN. I covered the cost as part of their bridesmaids gift. My sister is really fair skinned, and my best friend is Southern Italian, the colour of this dress suits both of their skin tones perfectly. This is the medium, both Melissa and I are 5'7. They were bit long so the girls will need to get them hemmed. The bust is supportive (no bra worn in this photo), the waist and butt area has lots of room, the waist is a bit tight and doesn't have much give. Maybe I'm baised but if I was a bridesmaid in a beach wedding I would totally want to wear these, which made me super excited for my girls. This is me trying on the dress: I've asked them to wear flat, silver sandals for the reception, they can choose whatever they like as long as they show me first. Neither of them are huge chunky jewellery people so that will be kept to a minimum as well. My Hair: At first I pictured my hair down, curled and a flower (hence the flower in my picture with my dress). Then I tried on the veil, and then my best friend sent me this and it was so me: I often throw my hair up in a bun and I love the simplicity of the look. My dress is pretty busy at the bottom and the top is open, so my hair being in that big beautiful bun and with the veil I think it would be perfect. Plus I don't have to really think about it during the day. My girlfriend who does my hair regularly is coming to the wedding, she will be doing my hair for the day, along with my bridesmaids and Mom. I am also doing my own make-up - I have always hated getting it done and I'm quite good with that sort of stuff. Recent Michael's Finds: Although I need to check on a couple items with the resort for decor, I started picking up a few things: Silver Frames @ $3 each to place on the front table (if there is a front table - TBC) with either pictures of Col & I or some sort of signage. Letter Initials @ .25 cents each that @ suggested I spray paint silver and place on the front table that I'm hoping exists. If it doesn't, I will keep black and use in my home. Couldn't lose at that price. As mentioned, I'm making my own bouquet. I picked up these gorgeous roses @ $4 each: And started working them in: I need to work on the arrangement and may add a few more small, closed, pink roses. Coming up: Colin has asked his brother and cousin in London to go and be measured this weekend. This week and weekend we'll be looking into some options, hoping to have this sorted within a month's time Downloading the wedding music app this weekend and start loading reception songs We are planning on sending out a final email to the guests that have not booked in the beginning of November to make them aware of the RSVP date -
@@Wafflesmom OMG I thought I commented - so sorry! Those invites are beautiful So nice that so many people had a hand in the design/cost etc... it makes it extra special!
