@ We have 40 people with their deposits down, 19 in Canada and their payments are due Oct 21st. 21 people in the UK who have all their own individual payment deadlines.

Omg after I posted I was like "S*** that was so insensitive of me" after what you've gone through the past couple of days - I hope I didn't offend you! We just missed the 2 passengers free mark by 2 people, but it gives us some wiggle room and at least we're getting one. Can't believe it's jut over 6 months! Col texted me today when he realized that as of today, we've lived in our apartment for the same amount of time as it is until the wedding and that flew by! - I think someone's is getting excited lol

Just found out two of Col's friends booked the hotel a while ago, still need to book their flights but that brings us up to 40 guests (not including Col & I). Our payment deadline for the Canadian side is on October 21st. I'm pretty confident that everyone will make their payment in time due to the fact that some didn't book because they knew they couldn't make the October deadline. We're still expecting approx 10 more to book, but again, I'm happy as it is. In the 6-month countdown now!!!

@@Wafflesmom aww you poor thing, you don't need that stress! You're such a good person to still see her side of things. What's crazy to think is that maybe the new boyfriend is great and pushing her to go but because she hasn't had a relationship she's going to do anything to stay with him... I dunno, totally just thinking about different scenarios. Is there anyone else that can step in and share the room with your friend? I don't really know what to say, I would feel hurt just like you do right now, I just want to send positive and let you know that everything will work out and be perfect

@@snswedding2016 Thank you! My passport expires Oct 14th 2016 and we're travelling to Mexico on April 23rd 2016, so it's just shy of 6 months, like 5 1/2! I emailed both the Mexican/Canadian officials and my travel agent and both said as long as it's valid and not expired it should be fine even though they recommend having it valid for at least 6 months... I'm such a worrier that I'll probably just end up renewing it.

@@TinkerSofi I think it's a good idea to have back-ups, I'll definitely be doing the same. Did you have trouble using the app when you first downloaded it? Any tricks I should know? It took me a couple hours of playing around with it last night even to get it going.

@ I know! Elementary school dances We're having a legal ceremony, so 2 songs may be perfect? I'll have to find out more detail about how long it takes. I think for the cake cutting we are just going to turn the music down a bit? I'm not sure, but that would be a great song to play during cake cutting! That's where my problem is - this song fits in so many places, but I can't load them to every playlist lol

Sorry to hear about all of these bugs going around! I hope everyone who is not feeling well feels better soon! For those of you sticking to your goals - thank you! It's super motivating. I myself, although I am losing my spin classes, am super motivated today. I had a moment yesterday when I was deleting pictures, trying to make some room on my iPhone for the Wedding DJ app and I saw so many progress pictures that I've taken over the last year and a half. What got me wasn't that I wasn't happy with any of them, but that I have taken so many - so many times I've started over with a great mentality and never fully committed or saw it through to the end result that I want. I can't let that happen this time, this is too big a moment in my life to look back with regret that I didn't fully commit myself to this journey. Rant over. Bottom line - no excuses!

We downloaded the Wedding DJ App this weekend. I'm so glad we did because it took me a couple hours of playing around with it to understand how it works, and I'm still not 100% clear... maybe it's just me. Either way, I'm glad I started early! I need opinions: KC & Jojo - All My Life I absolutely love this song, and need to find somewhere for it, which category do you suggest we put it in? a) Pre-Ceremony - right now this list includes songs like "Red Red Wine" and "One Love" for a chilled out vibe while the guests are being seated Dinner c) Reception/Party - Use as one of the slow songs to break up the dance music I would personally add to each category because I love this song so much but that can't happen... would love to hear your thoughts!

I think I'm being stubborn and it's the principal of it - they took something away from us and I don't want to give in... but I guess I'm just hurting myself in the end. Like I said, I will see how I get on over the next month or two and I can sign up at anytime.

Does anyone have any recent knowledge of this? My passport expires just under 6 months after we go to Mexico - do I need to renew before? I will be changing my last name after so it would suck to pay the passport fee twice.

@@calgarybride2015 There are 2 bikes, I could definitely use them but it's not the same as someone yelling at you for an hour lol. I feel like at this moment I can't justify the cost when I have a gym in my building... with 50% it's a decent price though so I'm going to see how I get on for the next month or two and decide from there. Such terrible timing for them to do this, I'm less than 7 months from leaving for Mexico
